K-Mart for most improved player?

As it currently stands, K-Marts improvments of 6.3ppg, 2.2rpg, 1apg, .5spg, 8%FG, 17% 3P FG, and a whopping 20% FT are probably not enough to top vastly improved players like David West, Boris Diaw, and Chris Bosh. But, K-Mart had a HORRIBLE beginning to the season, and if he can end the season on a run like he has been on lately, keep having 20pt scoring nights, he could easily end up averaging 12ppg, 4rpg, and 2apg and even push his percentages higher. Do any of you think he might have a shot at this award? Maybe if West and Bosh falter a bit?

Man, I wish there was a most improved rookie award...that one would be a lock.

If there was an "All Improved Team" then he might make that, but he's not going to win the award. The guys you mentioned will get most of the consideration and while Kevin is becoming a good player I don't think he will come close to winning the award.

How is this even a topic? That award will go to a much more high profile player. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Chris Webber won the award.

My money would be on Diaw. Gerald Wallace would've been a good choice if he wasn't so injury prone.

Diaw just put up a triple-double last night after last season of doing practically nothing from what I remember I don't think he averaged over 5 pts and thats not even considering the other stats right now he is hands down most improved player.
