Just a marketing idea for the Monarchs... How about putting out a dvd with highlights of the Championship season! I can guarantee some pretty good sales in the Sacramento area. (I'm down for at least two)

Wouldn't you just love to relive this season over and over?

Wouldn't you just love to loan a copy to friends who haven't discovered the WNBA yet? What if the Monarchs donated a copy to every Blockbuster and Hollywood Video in town?

I'd love to get a few to send to my nay-saying brothers who are Laker Fans.
In today's paper Ailene Voisin wrote about marketing. She thinks that name recognition of the players is important to increase interest. Perhaps the DVD could have player profiles to familiarize the new fans with our players.
I still can't stop talking about the Championship!

Storm renewing STH's got a season highlight DVD last year. It took them forever to make the dang thing. Eventually, the new STH's got one during the season as well.

What didn't make any sense was that they did NOT sell it in the Team Store. Why I have no idea. They missed out on a golden opportunity. Alot of fans wanted something to commemorate the season (just like all the Monarch fans this year).
