JT to the east coast? (Philly?)

just saw a re tweet by jason jones regarding jt's tweet on going back to the east coast tomorrow and him having a nice time in california. sorry, don't know how to post the link of his tweet on this forum using this darn phone (old guy here). one of j t's followers posted something about him going to philly. don't know if its true or not. Iguadala anyone? ryan anderson and Iggy would certainly fill 2 of the holes that we have.
 
I don't know, since I haven't seen JT's or Jones' tweet, but the part about having a nice time in California does sound sort of like farewell.
 
I just read his twitter and looks to seem he's going back to Philly to visit. He was in Cali for july 4th, which is why he said "had a good time in cali".

Don't read into it that much.

He doesn't entirely control the situation, though. If he isn't going to be happy here, maybe we can sign-and-trade him somewhere to fill that SF spot and then try to pry Anderson away from the Magic.

I think it means nothing out of the ordinary. (though Ryan Anderson went home for parts of the summer as well.)

So after the dynamic Hawes/JT frontcourt lead the Kings straight to the lottery, the Sixers are going to give it another shot? I doubt that. But then maybe the Sixers know something the Kings didn't, which is not surprising.

Or maybe JT is to replace Hawes.

Or maybe this is all ado about nothing.

We'll find out soon enough.
 
JT actually moved out of his rental house and moved back to Philly a short time after the season ended. He was back in town recently for a wedding.
 
Definitely reading too much into it. I saw him 2 nights ago at BJ's on Arden, so he was definitely in town. (Side note: Also noticed he was limping out of BJ's when he was leaving... hope he was just sore or something. =/)
 
the sixers just agreed to sign hawes and lavoy allen, reading to much into it. some sort of rumor would have leaked before JT ever boarded a plane after being signed nd traded/recruited etc.
 
Reading too much? Probably so but it sure ties into today's column in the Bee by Voison. If Anderson doies come to KIngs along with Robinson, our PF cup runneth over. Of course it is just a coincidence. Uh huh.
 
you'd usually hear some murmurings by now of which teams were interested in offering him deal. I haven't heard any. I'd be surprised if he's not back.

Thats where he lives! His whole family is from back there, and thats where he normally hangs out during the summer. So its not a big deal.

Look, JT may well end up somewhere else, but I've been following him on tweeter for the last few years, and this is a normal post from him. He flys back and forth between Philly and Sacramento all the time. In this case he was out here for the draft show put on by the Kings. Its not unusual for him to say, Wheels up for Philly, had a nice time in Sacto. He also makes posts saying, Wheels up in Philly to Sac, had a great time at the bar B Que.

yeah probably nothing... I didn't realize JT was from philadelphia, but if this ryan anderson thing happens then we have 1 too many power forwards on this team. I like JT but, personally I think ryan anderson is aperfect fit for this team. I'm actually pretty bored out of my mind right now so I figured a little rumor mongering isn't such a bad thing during free agent time.

No problem. I did know he was from Philly, but I don't follow his tweets or anyone else's, for that matter.

Guess I'm just jumpy. :p Sorry.
