I'm saying for the start of next season. The TPE is good for a year right? Then if they aren't a tax team they'll have a full MLE. I'm not sure how a trade works mid season so maybe that changes it but I don't remember hearing that.

The Nemi question is one I had at the time too. I theorized it was a favor to Brown to get one of "his guys" in Javale on the team. But we spent 2 years developing him in the G-League, he became one of the best players in the G-League and he's just gone?

Haven't really kept up on how he's playing in BOS though. He had some real rebounding concerns here.

TPE doesn't exist if you are under the cap, as far as I know. The whole reason it is a thing is so you can execute a "non-simultaneous trade" and keep your existing salary.

Alex Len is cheap and he's a great 14-15th man. He's there in case of injury primarily. Unless it's a killer deal for a key piece like a solid defensive 3 and D 3/4, No need to rush him out the door. Plus he's a great teammate and goes hard in practice.

Len has been great in limited minutes for us.

So we traded Fox, Huerter, and one of our own second round picks for Lavine and Valenciunas, a couple first round picks, and a couple second round picks if I understand that correctly.

That's a great trade.

Makes me feel better and better, and it's not over yet, maybe more to come.
Everyone says Valenciunas is a bench player, wondering if he would start as center and Domas as PF in certain matchups.
