There were quite a few discussion points in that post-game presser by Joerger.

I don't see WCS or Tolliver as realistic high-minute PF options, so Rudy seems to be forced there for a significant chunk of the game.
The other 3 positions will be divvied up by Collison, Lawson, Afflalo, Temple, and (more minutes than people will expect) Barnes.
Personally, I think Ben Mc deserves more minutes, and Omri deserves more of a chance to show he still has game that fits this team's needs.

I'm concerned with how much Joerger's mentions of "pace" suggests a desire to dovetail with Lawson's game more (which baffles me, because any mention of "pace" is actively coaching IN TO and maximizing Demarcus' weakness).

if small ball will help prevent the team from digging themselves in a hole early then I can be on board with this. I can see Gay moving to the four and Barnes starting at the 3.

By pace he means ball movement, not necessarily running up the floor faster and shooting.

I see a problem with everybody in the starting line up, except for DMC and Gay.

PF: should be either WCS or Toliver. Toliver would spread the floor better, but I like wcs long term here.

Sf: leave gay at sf, he is balling, we shouldn't switch him to pf.

C: DMC should play the center of course.

SG: I think that if neither afflalo or temple gives you much scoring, you have to start temple for his superior defense.

Pg: collison should be starting. Lawson can not shoot anymore.

Vlade needs to get us a PF.

JT isn't doing anything these days! :p

I would sure like to see a healthy Noel next to Cuz. I believe its a contract year for Noel and there maybe other reasons while this makes no sense, however, a bold move for an impact player is much needed.

Still don't understand the lack of Omri when the team has lacked an energy guy. The whole team's personality has become more stable, but lacks OOMPH. They do need a bit of fist pumping.

My hope is that this means they still have coverage via length and speed, and that everyone rebounds with no leaks. That's only how this works. You can then do 1 in 4 out on offense and get good shots.

I prefer Collison and Temple/McLemore in backcourt with the mini duo being a bench deal. Why Lawson is still starting is the other mystery. I hope Joerger is just slow to change rather than resistant to it.

Common sense the only way you can play big and be successful is if either or both the bigs are above average athletes or above average offensive players, if the Kings could trade for (not saying they should) a Brook Lopez/Okafor/Monroe than the lack of athletic ability is made up for by being able to punish teams a guy like Koufos brings none of that he's a way below average athlete and cannot punish anyone for being small/weak.

I'm amazed it took a decent coach like Joreger 13 games to figure it out after Koufus lost playing time to the likes of Acy last year cause he sucked next to Cousins. Cousins can only play PF if the other big can punish smalls on offense or is a freak athlete who can actually rebound.

All the current big line ups have what I'm talking about
Gobert/Favors (both very solid athletes in particular Favors )
LMA/Gasol both above way average on offense
Blake/DJ both elite athletes
KAT/Dieng athletes and both can space the floor
Lopez/Taj

There's probably more as well I just can't be bothered thinking about now
