Jimmers dribbling ????

Brick, you completely missed my point. Comparing him to those two players were not because I thought they were similar or because they were white. They payed the same position, the went to small colleges and were both 22 when they came into the league and took 3-4 years to truly develop. I think Jimmer will be the same. Also, they were playing specifically PG and being asked to distribute. On this team, even when Jimmer is playing the PG role, he is not looking to distribute like those two were.

You made good points. Keith Smart mentioned the other night that he wasn't going to force Jimmer into too much too quickly, that he wanted him to get comfortable at each level and that he fully expects Fredette to be successful in the NBA for a long time.

I don't know if Jimmer can dribble but I sure know that he can hit the thirty-five footer.

are you sure? cause if you just use tonights game he went 2-7 from 3.... and one was a total fluke bank shot.... so basically if you mean he sure can lucky bank in one and out right make 1 out of 6 attempts... then yeah boss he's a real sure fire sniper

If you are going to take out the fluke, why don't you take out the shot at the end of the game and the 35 footer as the shot clock ran down?

Tonight's game of Jimmer shooting 2-7 from 3 (with one being a lucky bank) is totally a perfect microcosm of his season's 3pt shooting... oh wait never mind that observation was asinine, he is shooting just under 40% from the arc.

I don't think you do your argument any favors by trying to claims Jimmer can't shoot either. Moderation is an aid to credibility.

You sound like you either take steroids or do the occasional strong stimulant, or frequent mild stimulants. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm just struggling to understand why your arguments refuse so forcefully the the relentless rain of reason.

In his world, someone is either the best thing since the advent of fire or the worst thing since the invention of the concept of genocide.

In other words, Bill Walton's long lost love baby from an off-season night concert in the seventies. (That may have been over the line but I couldn't resist.)

i think he's a great shooter even though he's not really shooting that great so far... I'm just messing with people now ... why i would make another jimmer thread is beyond me... people just go crazy over precious jimmer....

for the record ... and i've said it a million times... he will be at least a lights out shooter eventually ...

Late comer. Here's a share of my thoughts on Jimmer Fredette. Great outside shooter regardless of current stats. Dribbles fine with both hands. Isn't ready to play pg in NBA yet. Is currently perfectly placed on the second unit with Salmons bringing the ball up. Like the combo. Think we will see more of it until it fails. Second unit is good now and partiallly because of him. Future? He'll keep developing as a pg and will be able to handle it at least as an NBA backup. Any better than that? Dunno.but maybe. Jummer doesn't rank high as either the Kings' biggest problem or as the King with the most potential. Good luck.
