Jimmer + #7 + ? for Favors?

What would it take to get Favors from UTAH. Id like to get their first round pick as well.

I'd even do Thornton and #7 for him. Call me crazy but I'd even do Jimmer AND Thornton and #7 for him. Just him, not even their first rounder. But I don't think Utah would even do that.

Yeah, you do that without thinking and you have your frontcourt sorted for the next decade with two pieces that compliment eachother. But Utah wouldn't go for that.

I do not think there is anything we could offer to get Favors. And I would trade everyone (except Cousins) on the roster with our 7 for Favors.

I will call you crazy and will join your crowd. :)

short answer for all things Utah related: none of their core players (Favors, Hayward, Kanter) is available for anything the Kings would be open to offer.

the name that keeps being talked about here that the Jazz want to ship to get the #7 pick is Alex Burks. The kings would get picks #14 & 21. Also Chris Ford is reporting this. http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/6429/alec-burks

So we'd get Burks, 14 and 21 for number 7? Depending on who was available at our pick, I think I'd do that. You can still look to package assets, including Burks for the right pieces.

This would be a great deal. Doubt it would be for both picks, unless Jimmer was included.

that is what the local sports talk radio has here. I have seen burks play the 1,2 & 3 for the jazz. You don't get PT with them if you don't play D.

Ok crazy crowd, let's get crazier.

I would do: Thornton, Jimmer, JT, and our #7 for just Favors.

Now they have their pf.

I don't know **** about salaries.

Can you ride that crazy train? And do the Jazz do it at THAT point?

I'd do that deal, even if they required Jimmer. Plenty of decent talent left at that point in the draft. I'd take Snell and one of the available shot blockers. Not sure what the interest in Hardaway Jr. is, but I want a shot blocker somehow out of this draft. Too many potential good ones, too big a need, and we have too many chips not to get one.

It sure would clean up our guard problem and replace Favors with another decent player at the same position. I think the salaries are a problem and we might have to keep Thornton. Not sure.

Guys, I know why we want Favors. But nobody ever seems to consider that the Jazz don't want to trade him.

You've got to look to unhappy teams/players/situations when trying to steal a guy. I suppose if Utah does the big stupid and resigns Jefferson and Milsap then maybe we could revisit this. But Favors was untouchable a year ago and as far as is known is still a big part of their envisioned future.

You DID read that this was crazy, didn't you?
