Substituting for Mike today was Jerry Reynolds with Grant and was it great!! Say what you will but Jerry is such a breath of fresh air and full of funny little antedotes.

Like the one where he, after refereeing his last high school game at an away site, had made a controversial call and had to be escorted out of town by the state police. Or when coaching the Kings, Joey Crawford (?) came over to Jerry and said "Jerry, sit down. Your making a fool of yourself and I don't want to have to give you a technical!".

Great show tonight, tho' down here on the coast really could only hear last hour or so.

I have always liked Jerry Reynolds. Although not a good coach, or GM I believe he is a good talk show host.

Yup not to mention he is yet another guy from Indiana... :) Damnit when will I become famous!

I am not a big fan of Jerry's PEJA VU and BIBBOLICIOUS CRAP but today he did liven up the show. I like Lamb but honestly I think Jerry was 10x better in that spot.

Jerry Reynolds is ten times better than Mike Lamb.

I also like Jerry's corny humor. For instance, he claims to be "the second best looking man to come out of French Lick, Indiana.".

While I think Jerry has some funny one-liners, he can really get on my nerves sometimes.

I can do without "Spec-tac-a-lar", or after a player makes a good play "And that's what he can do"...

All I have to say is that Grant has to go. Grant is in a long line of horrible, arrogant Norcal radio hosts that includes Monty and Krueger (from KNBR). It's getting really bad to hear these clowns mouth off every single night with a lot of puff and very little substance.

Jerry is alright...a good fill in from time to time.

Jerry is hilarious in any talking form...I agree he's a breath of fresh air ofcourse you almost have to be sitting next to Grant

Jerry Reynolds is an old timer, rural, sort of man. There used to be a lot of them running around, guys that know about farms and ranchs. Now days, pretty much all we see are smart *** urbanites with very narrow life experiences. Boring IMHO.

Jerry is a small town guy, with corny humor. There’s some charm in that, or at least in small doses. He's a lot more tolerable than the wanna-be intelligent routine of Mike Lamb.

Mike Lamb reminds me of a supervisor I had at a call center job a few years back.

The guy sounded the same, and thought he was intelligent, but when it was all said and done he was still a CALL CENTER SUPERVISOR. Big deal. He put in his time, and got the promotion. He was not deserving over others that could have done the job better, he just said the right things, and got the job.

I think thats how Mike Lamb got his job.

Jerry - "he is high-five thats what he does, high-five maurice, that should be his nick name, because he gives you a high-five, high-five he is... high-five maurice, i think we got a high-five on our team "
