[Game] Jazz @ Kings - 12/8/15 - 7 pm PST, 10 pm EST

It was driving me crazy to see cousins plant himself at the 3 point line every single time on offense. I know its not just me cause damn near everyone around me (section 202) were yelling for him to get his a$$ into the paint. My wife finally saw with her own eyes why I've been yelling at the TV all season.

Utah lost cause they couldn't knock down their wide open 3 point shots. WIDE OPEN. Watching this team play defense in person is a whole different animal. It looked like a frantic mess and most of the time it looks to me like they have no plan.

There will be games from time to time where the Kings run into opponents such as the Jazz or Mavericks on off nights and pull out the wins. On most nights though, they won't be so fortunate and just as likely will go back to their losing ways because things have not changed one single bit. Neither from an offensive standpoint or defensive standpoint.

At this point, it appears to me that McLemore is the weak link in the defense. Watching intently shows that he is always lost in space, and for some unfathomable reason keeps trying to double someone in the post that is not there and leaves wide open 3 point shooters on the perimeter to drain uncontested 3's. I am CERTAIN that the defensive scheme does not have anything to do with Ben being a post defender. However if you watch him, he runs back on defense right to the paint, ignoring his defensive assignment of guarding the other team's SHOOTING GUARD.

Until you can get Ben to STOP blowing defensive assignments, he needs to ride pine. His offense is ineffective and his defense is atrocious. I've been loathe to call Ben a bust, but at this point I'm going to say he is not, nor never will be a starting 2 guard in the league. He lacks the basketball IQ to follow game plans or to fulfill his offensive and defensive rotation obligations. He needs to show it in practice before he gets any more playing time. He has become a rally starter for the OTHER TEAM. BENch him.

I wonder, if I watched a different game than some users.

Cousins was sprinting back on D more often than not. His complaning is pretty much under control. He doesn't freak out. This season he has accumulated only two technical fouls so far, while Mr. poster boy Blake Griffin has 6 and got ejected once.
But Cousins somehow will never be a winner or a leader, because.....Lebron James o_O (I hate this overrated BS term - leader, when it comes to sports. Somehow everyone is a leader now and needs to be a role model citizen on and off the court). It's about playing basketball not about being a role model.
And Cousins play in the recent games leaves a lot to be derserved. So why focus on these hypothetical leader, volatile personality BS?

Ben played pretty well from my point of view. So I don't understand, why he should be the weak link of our team.

Cousins and Rudy didn't force things. We moved the ball. Our defensive effort was there.
It's a start....one step at a time.

Casspi had 10 Rebounds. 10 rebounds from a small forward is not good enough for you? o_O

He made 2/3 tonight. Why did you write that?

I think Casspi played very good, and was one of the main reasons we won. He had 19 points including 3 3's, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and the highest +/- in the team with +15.
What made you write all this stuff about him? Did he step on your tail or something?
Anyway good win. Go Kings :)
Casspi was crap on the boards last night... anyone who watched the game would've saw that too. God knows how Casspi ended up with 10rebounds...

All in-game reactions, and I do love Casspi.

He's been a crap FT shooter this year shooting around 50%...
