I am hearing rumors that the Nets might be shopping Jason Kidd. Now he will be getting paid alot of money for the next couple years ($18 mil, $19.7 mil, $21.3 mil over the next 3 years) Is it worth looking into?

Yes , he is definitly worth looknig into in my opition...He s a TRUE all star player and almost averages triple double numbers nightly. I actually think he wou;ld be the perfect person to throw all-op paases to Kevin Martin.But according to the other Kings fans on this site dont agree for some dumb reason. Although, he has had the micorscpic surgery he is back to his old form and still putting up great numbers on a nightly basis. I would take Kidd over Bibby in a heart beat.....Check out my Mike Bibby and Kenny Thomas for thread to see what I am talknig about....

Might if I had a clue what he was referring to.
In any case, Kidd's still great, but he's also going to be turning 34 here in a couple of months and that's not when you want to be trading for a guy with a huge contract unless you have immediate plans on contrending with him. And merely replacing Bibby with Kidd doesn't do that for us. So in the absence of supporting moves, we really shouldn't be on that market.

There was a fairly lengthy discussion some time ago where one of the participants - who doesn't post here any longer I don't think - maintained fairly vehemently that Jason Kidd had once been a King and we traded him away.
I think we finally figured out that he either meant Jason Williams or was confusing Kidd with Williams.

There was a fairly lengthy discussion some time ago where one of the participants - who doesn't post here any longer I don't think - maintained fairly vehemently that Jason Kidd had once been a King and we traded him away.

Yeah, it was that or he actually said "We cannot trade Kidd".
I should have looked at my own signature before starting this thread.
