January Games for the CAP NBA Live 2005 Dynasty

The Kings played the New Jersey Nets. Records: Kings 29-10 NJ 19-26

1st Quarter
NJ 19 Kings 17

Kings started the quarter slow and did not do good offense. Their defense was OK, but offense needed to improve. The KIngs got hte tip and in theri first possesion, Danny made a lay-up. After Danny made the lay-up, New Jersey went on a 8-0 run. bball made a 2 pointer and and then he wenton te bench for Daley because of his recent injury. Next game, this qwon't happen. Jesus made a lay-up and then daley made a lucky banked shot at the end of the shot clock going to 1. Daley made a dunk and then BIC made a lay-up. Vasillis then made a nice tip in afterwards from a missed shot. BIC missed a ahot at he buzzer.

2nd Quarter
NJ 32 Kings 39

The game was not a high scoring game for a change. Lots of defense by the Nets thanks to Greg ostertag who is in the starting positoin and the Nets got him from free-agency. Fever made 2 FTs to startrt teh second quarrer. Daley made another dunk. And then another dunk by Daley!! Kings went on a 14-4 run. Fever then made a nice SLAAM. C-Diddy made a lay-up and then the Kings were doing great defense tahnks to Vasillis. BiC missed a wide open dunk for a breakawy jam but missed it/ BIC then made a 3 pointer adn then fever made a long 2. Kings were making many TOs thanks to referees not making calls like push outs and bumps. Bball then made a 3 and then a Jesus dunk.

3rd Quarter
NJ 49 Kings 66

Kings spread the lead a little bit more in this quarter, actually.....a lot. Danny made a reverse dunk which were hte first points fo the second half. New Jersey missed 4 consecutive shot attempts. Then Richard Jefferson stopped that streak making a 3 pointer. Clipper then made a dunk. NJ went on a 13-2 run! but then all Kings. David made a lay up and then danny made a breakaway 3 and then another David lay-up. Clipper made another SLAM and then Bball made a 2. bball made a lay-up afterwars and then Clipper showed up his dunks sikills making a nice 2 handed dunk. Clipper then made a lay-up.

4th Quarter

Daley made a dunk and they were the first points of the last quarter in the game, hopefully. Vasillis made a dunk and then Fever made a lay-up. Fever then made a SICK reverse SLAM JAM. Kings were on a whopping 20-4 run. ever made a 3, then BIC made a 3, and tehn Fever made another 3. Vasillis madea 2handed SLAM and then anortehr dunk by Vasillis. David made a 2 hand SLAm nd tehn Jesus made a tremendous 2 handed air SLAm like Michael Jordan. Clipper made a 2 hand SLAm and that was it.

Postgame comments

Vasillis' blocks sealed it. His defense was great, 11 blocks? that's crazy..
again we played a good team game and came out with another big win.
 
Mike (Postgame):

Wow... 11 blocks? Thats unbelievable. He really set the tone for us on defense tonight. I wish I could've scored a little more but it looks like we all were struggling on offense. I look forward to playing SA and seeing how they respong to The Peters comments.

Another blow out. Another mediocre performance by me. Not good, not good at all. Great defense by Mykonos tonight. Absolutely a force in the middle. Swatted away everything. Great effort all around. Maybe we can play a team that will actually challenge us soon.

Coach BBallrock, can you post the standings if at all possible? Where are we? Do we have any players that are in the league leaders in statistics?
 
"New Jersey was our warm-up for San Antonio. And, as usuall, we got the upper hand, and blew out another team. In my eyes tonight, I didn't see Jason Kidd and the Nets, I saw Tony Parker and the Spurs."

I'm pretty proud of my double-double, even in limited minutes. I just hope we can all put together a good game against the Spurs. I think they're gonna be out to prove something...maybe because of something they may have heard.

I can't see the All Star Voting. WE will just have to wait for the invintations the week before the Weekend.
 
The Kings played at the San ANtonio Spurs today. The Peter talked about them a little bit at the last meeting about the Spurs but you wil l see how they replyed. Bball was also now 100% for this game and does not have to leaave for the bench early anymore! Records: Kings 30-10 @SA 25-19

1st Quarter
Kings 24 Spurs 24

The Spurs got the tip and in their first possesion, Bowen made a quick 3. Parker made a shot and then Jesus got on the board making a lay-up. Bball made a 2 and tehn Clipper made a SICK SLAm on 2 players! Bball made a 3 and then Clipper made a lay-up. David made a reverse SLAM DUNk. Clipper made a 2 and then Clipper made 2 FTs nad then a Bball lay-up. Bball made a nice circus shot and even SHOULD have been a +1. Daley made a lay-up and then Horry made a 3 pointer. BIC missed a long 2 at teh buzzer to end the 1st quarter. The game so far was close.

2nd Quarter
Kings 59 Spurs 43

Vasillis made a 3 pointer which were the 1st points of the 2nd quarter. Brent made a 3 and tehn Fever made a lay-up. BIC made a reverse SLAM. BIC made a dunk and then Daley made a SLAM. Spurs missed 4 consecutive shots and then BIC made a 3 and then made another 3!1 Daley made a lay-up and then Vasillis made a long 2. BIC made a anoterh2 and then Clipper joined and made a 2 himself. Jesus made a 3 pointer adn then Clipper made a 2 again. Danny made a 3 adn then Jesus made a nice tip in. Danny unfortunatly missed a shot at the buzzer to endd teh 1st half. The Kinhgs made anice run in this quarter.

3rd Quarter
Kings 73 Spurs 70

Spurs made a ahuge run in this quarter to come back in the game. Ell, they are the Spurs! Brent made a dunk and tehn David Jin-Wu made a 2 pointer and then Parker answered with a 3. david then answered with a 3. David made anice 2 hand JAM afterwards. Daley made a lay-up and then Duncan made a SLAM. Kings were making many turnovers in this quarter and Kings were also taking bad shots. Vasillis made a 3 and tehn a tip in. Parker was making sshot after soht after shot and then made a anotehr on of his 3's.

4th Quarter

It was a close game in the beginning part of teh quarter., but then it spread the lead by...........................the Kings. Brent started the quarter making a +1 and then a Fever shot. It was tied. Spurs went on a 16-7 run, including the last quarter. BIC made a 3 and then the Kings started to roll. Kings just went on a run and then the Kings just flew past the Spurs. Kings made 4 consecutive shots. Dalry made a lay-up adn then Parker got a +1. He did make the FT. Daley made a Reverse SLAm and then a lay-up. Diddy made a lay-up adn ten BIC made a 3 pointer. Parker got another ++1 again. Danny made the prettiest pass form half court for an alley oop to Jesus for a SICK SLAM. Bball made a 2 and then at the buzzer, Danny made a 3.

- The Peter gto blocked MANY times by the Spurs in this game probably due to his comments. Brue Bowen did some nice D but it was not match for Daley. he made 14 pts, and handed out 3 dishes. He took his comments seroiusly.
- Parker made 12-25 FG, 6 asts, and 30 pts
- Spurs had 47% FG, 31% 3 pt, 82% FT, 29 rebs, 14 asts, 7 stls, 6 blks, and 17 TOs
- Kings had 83% FT, 52% FG, 42% 3 pt, 41 rebs, 15 asts, 8 sls, 16 blks, and 16 TOs

Mike (Postgame):

It was a very good game. Miles got us going in the first half but we all slipped a little in the 3rd (I think Pop read out The Peters quotes at half to fire them up) but we got it done in the 4th. We're just on a roll. The Mike is proud of the 'team basketball' and hopes it continues. The Mike doesnt know why he started talking like The Peter all of a sudden but likes it.
 
6th calls to give congratulations on beating the Spurs:

Props also go to Miles for a tremendous double-double. 12 pts and 14 rebounds in only 19 min of play is phenominal. Good job, Miles. Your rebounding was a difference maker.

Great team effort, guys. Wish I could have been there to see it. Oh, and congrats for scoring 104 pts against the Spurs defense. That's not easy...most definitely.
 
Danny on the game:

"Damn, I really thought that shot at the end of the first half was going in...Maybe that would have gotten me more pumped up for the second half...I didn't do so well this game, other than that really nice pass from half court for the alley oop, but if we win the game, I am very happy. I hope I can get out of the rut I've been in recently and contribute more to the team. Nice job today though, I congragulate my teammates, our coach, and all of Sacramento for loving this team so much."
 
-The Peter walks out into the media room with a smug look un his face.

"First off The Peter would like to say...I told you so! I talked the talk, and I walked the walk. For the second time against the Spurs, The Peter has his second best game. If it weren't for The PEter's hard headedness, I could have eaisly scored 25, but instead of pulling up for jumpers from 7, The Peter forgot he's nearly a foot-and-a-half shorter than Tim Duncan. Don't fret the small stuff, though. We played a great 4th quarter, and The Peter will say it again, Sacramento Kings, World Champs, 2005. Bank on it!"

Post Game comments:

The 3rd Quarter was really a down quarter for us. We had a lot of turnovers and we need to improve on that. At least we held the Spurs below 100 points, considering Parker had 30 pts.

"I am very excited about my team and my teammates. I know that the Spurs are one of the very best in the league, but at this point the Kings are on a mission. We are ready to bring this community a championship. I know Webb and Bibby could not quite get it done. But Jesus Shuttlesworth will do everything possible to win a championship"
 
The Kings played the Rockets at the Toyota Center.It was a real close game and as I asid before, a player scored 20 pts on the Kings . Records: Kings 31-10 Rockets 14-29

1st Quarter
Kings 29 Rockets 22

The Kings started out the game REAL slow. Rockets got hte tip and in the 1st possion, Marc Jackson made a lay-up! Bball misses the 3 pointer and tehn T-Mac made a 2 himself. T-Mac then made a SEROIUS SLAM. Kings were cold missing 4 consecutive shots. Bball made a 3 getting on the board and so did Jesus who made a lay-up and David who made a 3. David then made the sweetest 360 dunk EVER!! CLipper made a 2 handed SLAM and tehn Clipper made a successful tip in. Danny made a lay-up and then Chalie Ward made 2 3 pointers in a row!! Jesus made a nice left hand dunk adn then Bball made a lay-up. Peter made a dunk adn then BIC made a lay-up with 2 seconds remaining in the qurter. Kings had a little lead after 1.

2nd Quarter
Kings 58 Rockets 50

Kings made 1 more point than the Rockets in this quarter. Fever made a 2 and were the first points of the qurter. Vasillis made a dunk and then Vasillis made a shot from the side. BIC made a 3 and tehn another!!Marc Jackson got an +1. BIC made another 3!! He was on FIRE!! Diddy made a 3 and tehn BIC and then Danny AGAIN!! Danny and BIC were just DRANNG 3s and moe 3s and more 3s! Jesus made a lay-up and then Bball made a lay-up. ball missed a 3 at teh buzzrt nd thte kings were up by 8 points after teh first half of the game.

3rd Quarter
KIngs 76 Rockets 77

Clipper made a SICK SLAm and were the 1st points of hte second half! Kings were commiting many TOs and it was teh Rockets D doing just that. Jesus made a lay-up and tehn the Rockets went on a 10-2 run. Danny made a 3 and tehn David made a lay-up. Danny made a pretty pass to Jesus for teh SWEET alley oop. Danny made a 3 adn tehn BIC made a 3!! Houston took the lead actually for a cpuple of mintes. Mike BIC missed a 3 @ teh buzzer to make the kings down 1 heading into the 4th quarter. This was a fierce 4th Quarter!!!

4th Quarter

What a 4th quarter folks! Behold teh one of the most exciting 4h quarters this year by the Kings! Fever made a goaltend so Houston got 2 points and that made them go up 3 and they were also the first points of the 4th. Kings 1st possion in the 4th, Dalry does an offensive foul. Diddy made a lay-up. Kings were missing many shots in this game and in the 4th including. BIC made a 3 and tehn Fever made lay-up. Diddy made a lay-up too and gave the Kings the lead back! Fever made a hook shot adfterwards. Houston was cold missing 5 shots in a row. Vasillis made a 2 and tehn Fever made a quick lay-up. BIC made a 3 and was clutch by Mike. Kinmgs were up only 1 with 2 minutes left in the game. Bball made a lay-up adn the Kings were up 2 with 1 minute left. Yao tied the game with an offensive rebound and dunked with a nasty feeling.

The game was tied with 24 seconds left. Danny was holdign the ball until teh end.With 5 seconds left he turns right and goes to the corner passes it to Bball KIngsrock who was at teh side. Bball does a pump fake and T-mac goes for it. Bball goes on the side like Peja does after a head fake, bball shoots tehe ball AND.......................................................Makes it!! KIngs were up 2 with 0.4 seconds left! The Knigs won!! The kIngs won!! The KIngs won!! WHAT A GAME FOLKS!

- Bball made a SWEETshot for hte kIngs to win!! What a game!! Major props to Bball!
- I guess Houston heard teh commetns Peter said about their NBA brotehr team that live right next to them. Peter Daley only made 2 points. Houston just made him think his comments through. What will hte Peter say this time?
- Jesus (5-10), Danny (4-7), Fever (4-5), and Vasillis (3-3) all hasd great shooting games.
- David (3-10), Bball (-12 except teh game winnig shot :D), and Daley (1-3_ had a rough shooting night.
- Houston had 55% FG, 43% 3 pt, 65% FT, 31 rebs, 10 asts, 9 stls, 3 blks, 16 TOs
- T-MAc had 21 pts, 4 TOs and 9-17 FG and yao Ming had 7-7 FG, 9 rebs, 17 pts, and 2 blks and 2 asts
- Kings had 51% FG, 40% 3 pt, 70% FT, 32 rebs, 19 asts, 11 stls, 9 blks, and 16 Tos

Kings have 1 more game in January which is the T-Wolves. Best team in the league.

IN February teh Kings have to face Seattle 2 times, Dallas 2 times, and Phoenix 1 time. Stay tuned!!

However, The Peter will take solice in the fact that he still owns the Spurs. That will hold me over until we play again, and The Peter has anothjer good game..."
