I've just realized how good Kings look

I just realized that too. Peja is third in SF but Lebron shouldn't be 1st. He's a guard isn't he? I say it goes like this: 1. Shawn Marion 2. Rashard Lewis 3. Peja

Here's the problem with basing ranks solely on statistical production: Does anyone else really think Dirk Nowitzki is a better player than Tim Duncan? Or that Shawn Marion is more important to the Suns than Steve Nash?

And while I'm always happy to read something good about our Kings, the truth is that the Kings style results in more points scored and more possessions per game, which skews the results in their favor.

Don't think that can be pure statistical production or doubt Peja would be #3 SF.

It's not about the position ranks. You can argue the actual rank of the players all you want, but the fact remains - all four of them are in the top 10... strike it... TOP 5 by their position. Webb - no questions, Peja - no questions, Miller - no questions, Bibby - some doubts, but not mine - he is in the top 5.

Here's the explanation from the CBS Sportsline page:

The rankings are a total player-rating system based on various offensive and defensive statistics. Players increase their scores with every contribution they make to the game.

How can 20pts 4rebs 1.5ast 1stl be the thrid best numbers for a SF? Not even shooting that brilliantly this year. Must be some curious weightings in there (heavy weights for FT% and 3ptrs made).

Recently Webber, YES..

BUT I would rate the PF in the league as follows..

1. Garnett
2. Duncan
3. Dirk
4. O'neal
5. Webber... (ok maybe he is top 5 hehe)

PG.........
1. Nash
2. Wade
3. Iverson
4. Francis
Than there are a host of Guards that I could rate #5...

Jason Kidd, Stephon Marbury, Chauncey Billups, Mike Bibby, Tony Parker. Or I could jumble the top 5, although I think Nash has the most impact on his team.. But I could see Wade drop lower, and Francis up higher.. ect ect ect.
