It's Turkey Day!

Ate too much, per usual. Family and friends were great! :)

I hope you all had as nice a day as I did. Happy Thanksgiving.

I'm eating some of my mom's flatbread as I type. MMMMMMMMMM! Unrfortunately all her cinnamon bread went very quickly. :(

We had Thanksgiving at our house for the first time, as family "politics" necessitated a change in venue (we have an aunt who is mad at most of the family, unfortunately, and I am not going to bore you with details).

It went really well and everyone had a good time. Topped off the meal with a piece of apple pie from Apple Hill (Grandpa's Cellar) and went to a movie with my dad and brother-in-law.

Today was a good day. :D

I had a great Thanksgiving. I caught up with an old friend I haven't spoken to in six years and had a great day with the family. I hope everyone else had a great Thanksgiving also. =)

With just 5 minutes left...hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!

Who's crazy enough for shopping tomorrow?? (not me)

My wife. And she dragged my sister and mom along this time. Usually she just goes with a friend of hers.

I think she's nuts, but she enjoys shopping Black Friday. ;)

On the way back from the monie last night (about 9 pm), there were about 50 people lined up in front of the closest Circuit City waiting for their sale today. Now those folks are nuts!

:eek: Certifiable. I refuse to go anywhere near a store this weekend. I sure am not going to line up for a midnight opening or a 5 AM opening.!!

One of the guests at dinner yesterday works at Gottschalk's and had to be there at 4 AM this morning. I gave her my condolences. ;) If it's not much fun to be the shopper being one of the employee's must be a special circle in h*ll.

Funny thing is, the crowds don't really bother me all that much. It's the traffic and the parking lots that are insufferable.

I was thinking more about the cold than anything else.....

It was darn nippy last night outside with lows in the low 30's.

And I agree with you about the traffic. People I don't mind. Standing in long lines or waiting in traffic gets old....

Had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I ate and ate and ate. Today, I will eat some more. :p

I will not go near any store today. Nope! I did it once (when I "adopted," just for Christmas, some teens in foster care) and that was enough for me. I did get a good deal that time though. :D

I've encouraged my clients to stay home and call in orders. ;)

not only did they not have to get up early, neither did I! :D

my sons wanted to go shopping today, i told them no way. i will never go out shopping on "black friday"
