Personally, ratehr than stumble in as a #8 seed and get spanked by somebody, I'd rather take the tatters of our dignitiy, dive intoteh lottery for a year, get a nifty kid or two, trade for a few more, and start over next year wiht a full rebuilding project with young talent we hope will grow into something. This lingering crap is much harder than just accepting reality and starting over.

Absolutely, except this time whent they start over they should proceed with a mindset of getting the most athletic and best defensive players possible.

Proof positive that most 'sports analysts' aren't that good, especially at judging teams that haven't even stepped on the court :p
Not just the analysts but including many ppl on this message board too. It got me believing for a while too... geez I gotta stop reading kingsfans.com.

Perhaps we shouldn't have any expectations at all?? Not saying that it is right or wrong to, just throwing it out there for discussion. Maybe, as fans, having expectations is useless when one doesn't have any control what so ever over the situation.

Hope springs eternal, and fans always cling onto at least some... I've said it before, this team is at a crossroads. After this poor start, I'm expecting major changes. All the way from a simple trade to beef up the bench, to a complete dismantling of the team, to the firing of the coach, to... God forbid (and I'm not so sure this is unrelated) the move of the team to another city after this season.

There was not? I think alot of people had faith we would go win 50 games again this year even ( myself ) I thought we were gonna win the pacific division we need to make a trade soon I think something needs to be done before this team goes on a run.

You might like a team called the Jazz. If you're hoping for a division title then congratulations. I want a NBA title. I dont' care what we have to do to get there. Seriously, if you and I were at a bar right now and having this conversation, I'd be waving my arms about and screaming why do you even bother being a fan. WAKE UP!! Don't you friggin get it? You can't win it all if your hooked on being just above mediocre because you'll never be willing to sacrafice everything for it! You have to have the long term vision. If you don't, I really don't understand why you even care about this team. Well then again, for some people, like the state of Utah, lukewarm is exactly what they want, as long as it gives them "role models" for their kids.

Wait for december 15th and hope this team can start to win a few games, if we can only be a few games under .500 or even when we make a trade on DEC 15 for a superstar or just a better team, then there is hope!

TRADE EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!

(besides bonzi)

which superstar can you trade for on 12/15? and what happens on that day anyways?
