Is it time?

I know there is alot of topics of about Rick lately, but I really think that this should be brought up. Has Rick Adelman been here to long? I know alot of people will point to Greg Popovic and Jerry Sloan and such, but look at it this way most of the coaches last for a couple of years in each team some last longer. The question is; Is Rick's time with the team almost up? He has coached roughly the same core guys for like the last 6 years and I think it is time for a change. I look at the team right now and I see no fire like I have in the past. This is one of the signs that the coach and staff are not getting through to the players. I think this will be the last year we see Rick coaching the Kings. They seem not respond in the way Rick has been coaching. This is not a knock on the coach per say but I think we need flesh blood on this team. It is time to move on. This of course happen untill the off season but I think it will happen.

His time is definitely up.

However he is not the one who deserves the whole blame. He is a big part in Kings development over last 7 years. He is the reason why the Kings were for 6 years what Suns are now. He is a great player's coach. He is also ultimate class act.
He is not responsible for injuries, players leaving, Vlade gettng older, salary cup, players choking on the FT line, etc.

He just has not won anything. This might change one day. Just will not with the Kings.

Yes I aggree that is part of the reason why I did not post in the other thread. He is a very good coach but I think his time with the team is almost up. Same with I think the core as a whole. If we do not win it this year things will have to change in order for the Kings progress to the next level.

If things do not work out this spring I have the feeling both coach and team will largely be turned over, and deserving's got nothing to do with it.
