I also forgot to mention that the Kings didn't even get a draft pick OR Sam Dalembert!!
It seems GP was just too eager to get Chris out of the team.
Well... I wish Kings and Peja all the best in this season....

I'm glad they're playing the Sixers cuz I'll be there. I hope CWebb will be in uni or at least on the sidelines by then becuz I want to make a sign for him. I just don't know exactly what it will say yet. I'm open to suggestions.

make it

" Kingsfans MIsses you, Our heart is broken"

he prolly won't end up getting to suit up

but in all honesty if he does get to suit up...i prolly won't watch the game...i mean i thought it was gonna be hard to play Orlando for the first tinme all season and see DC...but seeing Chris on the otherside line is gonna be like a stake through my chest

Speaking like a true Kings fan

i think bleedpurple was speaking like a true kings fan. i never wanted the kings to trade webber, but if it was an absolute necessity, and for the good of the team, then i say hell yeah, do it. but we got jack **** back for him, and thats why its so upsetting. what are the kings banking on? what the hell does "the future" mean? does petrie honestly believe that he's gonna be able to move those 3 contracts in the "near future" and get something of chris webber-like value. not likely. you dont trade one of the best power forwards in the league, who is having an incredible season and doing wonders for his team on a mental level, for some pipe dream. its just not good logic, and not good general managing.

I thought that a Kings fan would never want Kings to lose but then again what do I know ?

i believe bleedpurple said that he/she (sorry!) hoped c-webb would get a triple double when the kings play philly. it is entirely possible for a player from an opposing team to record a triple double and lose the game. i hope he gets a triple double as well. poetic justice is a brilliant thing. as is irony. kings management will see, up close and personal, what they traded away. this trade will be a real wake-up call for those in the front office.

I am pretty sure that they know what they gave up already.

Saturdays matchup with indeed be intersting.
I have a feeling there's gonna be a lot of Kings fans following the 76'ers moving forward. I will be a Webber fan until he retires, no matter where he plays.
I will continue to support the Kings as always.
This trade like many others involves money and a lot of politics. It's a business deal plain and simple. As fans we become emotional attached and when deals like this happen it becomes very personal for the fans. Don't forget we got a lot of great players who are still here and they need the support of the fans more than ever.
