IMPORTANT NOTICE: DO NOT LINK SOCIAL MEDIA

I know I have asked this before, but why doesnt the board owner just hand over ownership to someone like Tetsujin. I'm sure enough people can throw $20 via venmo or PayPal to help pay the bills and then we'd have an active poster who can update the site and deal with it when things break.

EDIT: Capt. here. Umm...looking like the site is now not allowing any new posts. Hoping that this is temporary, or is just a problem with me and not everybody. If indeed new posts cannot be made, expect updates here, I guess.
I mean, part of the reason is that Tetsujin very much does not have the time or (more importantly) the patience for that lol

(This reply went much harder twelve hours ago when I first tried to post it)

I best like Tetsu the way he currently is (i.e. "The Game Thread Dude"). No ownership duties for him (Unless he can somehow collect the necessary funds to assume majority ownership of the Kings...)!!!

Admining a board like this seems like a significant amount of stress for not a lot of payoff. Even if costs were distributed, I wonder if it's plausible that the take would make the job worthwhile.

Probably a good thing the boards were down last night. I don’t think the world could’ve handled the one-two punch of Davion playing like regular season prime Chris Paul for the first 3.9 quarters and following it up by playing like Postseason Chris Paul with the game on the line.
The world (for the most part) seems to have been able to survive the 2025-2026 Sacramento Kings season. I'm sure one night of Davion Mitchell basketball would've been tolerable.

Hey mac, sorry I had to hijack your post like that, but it was the last one in the stickied thread and I wanted to get some sort of message out.

The current update is that we appear to have been hitting a storage ceiling due to a rogue error log that was filling up all of our space. That has been deleted and we are now down to a manageable size, though it's not clear if all functions are back. I kind of feel like I'm stepping on eggshells for the moment, anyhow. If and when there is substantive news to report, we'll let you all know.

To be clear, i only picked @Tetsujin because he is probably the most active poster. I don't care who takes that on, or it could be a few posters. I have run sites, my friend runs another I am part of. It's not a lot of work. There are intermittent updates that need to be done. If someone is so inclined, they can tweak the usability of the site. But currently we have nobody doing this, so having someone who is active and is moderately web tech savvy would be a good thing. Just my .2 cents.

The mod team is working on this. I think we've at least determined a path for one/some of us to have the admin access we lacked to clear up the tech issues the site was having, believe me when I say the last month was just as frustrating for us because even mod tools were breaking. Also the no likes thing had me in dopamine withdrawal. I can only imagine how @In the L.A.nd o the Enemy survived.

I'd imagine the bot survived just fine
