Pau Gasol is a Center, a group not included with the forward list on NBA.com.
Lamar Odom has also been playing in the NBA for about a decade longer than JT. When comparing players, it's probably a good idea to compare them at similar points in their careers.
Odom in 2nd Season:
37.2MPG/7.8RPG/5.2 APG/1.0SPG/1.6BPG/3.47TOPG/17.2PPG
JT in 2nd Season (so far):
35MPG/9.1RPG/2.2APG/.6SPG/1BPG/2.0TOPG/14.7PPG
People like to complain about JT being turnover happy but Odom was close to 3.5 per game. Odom's stats are better but at the same time, he was playing for the Clips who had a frontline that really does deserve the label of scrubs: Brian Skinner and Michael "I Like Kandi" Olowakandi with Cherokee Parks

and Eric Piatkoski

in there as well. If your argument is that the lack of frontline help has padded JT's statline then shouldn't by the same logic, Odom have been doing much better statistically than he was?
Just for fun (by no means am I saying JT will become Bosh or anything similar)
Bosh in his second year:
