Exactly how do you guys have these inside connections, and how can I copy you?

They could tell you, but then they'd have to kill you!

Seriously,
They're actually Grant and Jerry, didn't you know that?

:D

SD - You did know 6th and I are both female, right?

;)

yeah, I know.

But if Jerry were to cough three times at the start of the second quarter tonight, I might think otherwise. ;)

Well, I'm currently playing phone tag with the person at Arco. They offered me the other seats for the same price. I guess that's a concession on their part even though in my opinion they are worse seats. They also offered me free tickets to tonight's game but I don't think I can use them because of scheduling conflicts. I suppose I will take the offer even though I'm not really happy with it. The whole experience has kind of drained me today. I'd just say forget it but then I'd be routing for the Kings to loose because I'd kick myself for not taking the tickets if they made it deep in the playoffs. I still think the other person should have had to change seats, not me. I'll let you know the final outcome.

If you knew how funny this comment is. Okay, my real name is Jerry, but it is spelled Gerri. And I have been coughing for 5 days. Actually, I was diagnosed with pneumonia today, so I don't get to go to tonights game. :(

Jeremy, while I understand your frustration and anger, I hope you know that Maloof Sports and Entertainment has tried very hard to make you happy. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how good those seats are.

I am really sorry to hear about this episode. It sure takes off some luster of Kings making POs again, for Jeremy at least. But if I saw this posting earlier, i would have suggested Jeremy puts VF on the case and let them deal with our fearless moderator. ;)

In any case, I think the right think to do is to fight for the tickets until you get satisfaction (whatever it is - same tickets or better tickets at same prices etc.).

I'd be so upset if this happened to me, my post would never make it through the filters and moderation, so in my mind Jeremy is dealing quite well with the whole situation.

I don't think they've tried VERY hard but I'll grant you they did concede something by dropping the price. I've sat in sec 114 before and I just don't like it. It's too flat behind the scorers table and the seats are really packed together. The other seats were on an isle and directly behind the little advertising boxes so no one would have been in front of us. If these other tickets were that great they wouldn't still be available and 1 row back the price drops anyway. I realize options are probably limited at this point with the games mostly sold out so I'll just have to take what they give me.

I really appreciate those of you that tried to help. The only good thing to come out of this was the realization that I have many friends on this board. Thanks again.

You are the best, Jeremy.....and that's what friends are for. :)

As long as nobody starts singing that song, we'll all be OK.

Enjoy the seats and yell loud enough that we hear you on TV! Good luck with them!
