I played SG in high school and intramural play. Of course, when I was playing there was really no distinction between PG and SG. But I played the 2... left ball handling to a quick, smaller guy who was pretty amazing at it.
I played SG in high school mainly because my handles aren't the best. But in the States I'm forced to play PG a lot of the time because of my size, or lack of it.
In high school I played PF, and sometimes Center when my sister wasn't in the game...now that I'm in college, I'll prolly play PF in intramural ball too.
haha nice...
back when i was in shape, i'd play everything. but because of my height, i normally stuck to PG. made the mistake of going against a much taller player one game for a rebound and got a black eye. then i got lost in the gym and took school pix 2 days later.
I played 2 years at Sac City college back in the 70's...at 5'1 I played point & guard. A fun experience & we took our conference 2 years straight. It was cool for me since I never played organized Basketball before...just some playground street ball with the guys. What can I say, I grew up with 5 brothers!
im short at about 5 7 tops... i play whenever i can( at the gym, with my friends , wherever) i usually switch off playing the point and playing the 2.. its never really "organized" when i play so it kinda gets mixed up if u know what i mean.. right now my legs are weak as s*** lol and i never really had any hops to begin with... im also out of shape a little... but i'll surprise you even right now when im not in my best basketball shape... when im in shape i can do some damage..

It's funny because when I came in to my basketball team 2 years ago I played Center. Each year I've came back I move up a position. Right now I'm playing SG/SF so I voted for both of those.
I played SF in church and city league til age caught up with me. Now I stick to golf but led the league in "t's" as a youngster, couldn't understand what the refs were or weren't looking at as they always seemed to have a different opinion of what I saw/felt. Enjoyed physical play under the boards and am of the opinion that the church league was much rougher than the city league dudes. Guess God forgave them every Sunday for what they did Tues/Thurs nights.
I play 2 gaurd a lot but I think I'm better suited for the SF position because I like taking it inside more than the outside jumper, and not nearly as trigger happy as most 2s are.
