I've never been a Lamar Odom fan. As talented as he is, he's far too prone to ups and down and comes across as pretty lackadaisical and mentally weak at times.

That said, I'd do the trade just because he'd be gone after a year.

Odom gelling with teammates wouldn't be critical; trading for Odom could just be used to free up more cap space. He would be serviceable as a one-year rental. Better than any PF currently on the team. Swapping Artest and Moore with Salmons and Odom in the starting lineup wouldn't be that dramatic a drop-off.
