I really do not get this

So there is this ESPN poll going on right now that asks 'who do you consider the single season HR record holder?' 65% is going to Roger Maris and 35% is going to Bonds. Another similar poll today asked 'if Ryan Howard hits 62 HRs this season, who will you consider the HR record holder?' Again, about 65% of those answering said Howard over Barry Bonds.

Hello, did Bonds, Mac and Sosa all test positive and I did not know about it? Are the 65% so sure these 3 are all dirty? Better question, is everyone so sure that Ryan Howard is clean? He is 6'4" and 255 lbs. He is a big strong dude.

I know I am in the minority on this issue - but here is a news flash: nobody knows who is clean and who is dirty...not yesterday, not today and no time in the near future. The records and state of pro states are what they are...

If you don't agree with the respondents of the poll, that's your choice. What ESPN is finding out is that a LOT of people do not think Bonds, MacGwyre or Sosa deserve any credit because they are convinced they all juiced.

It's an opinion poll. People are voicing what they believe.

Yeah, I get that it is an opinion poll and people are voicing what they believe, which they are entitled. I understand that I am in the minority. However, if people think that they can tell who is clean and who is dirty just by looking at them and seeing how they act, they are fooling themselves.

There is such a thing as willful ignorance -- in fact the exact thing that got baseball into this mess in the first place.

Its akin to a cop seeing somebody swerving all over the road at 2:00AM, pulling him over, seeing his bloodhsot eyes and slurred speech, and then saying, "well, I guess I do not KNOW you are drunk, have a good night sir."

Difference is now they are testing for steroids and back in the day they were not. Also, Ryan Howard is doing this at the age of 26 and Bonds was friggin' 38 years old and looked like a completely different ballplayer then when he was younger. Most athletes decline with age but Bonds got better and most would say this is because of the roids' her took(I only say most because I don't include Giants' fans because they seem to be the only people that think he was clean).
