I have a question....

How many games do we have to win to permanently get the 6th spot? do we need to win the next 2 games? or just one of them? and who owns the tie breaker?

we just need to win 1 game to lock down the 6th spot because we hold the tie breaker over denver

Rockets might have that 5h spot on lock down right now, the only way they can lose it is if Kings go 2 of 2 and they go 1 of 2. They also have the tie breaker.

huh? kings cant go 2-2 they only have 3 games left........

Go Suns on Monday night. Sixth is ok. The Kings will beat Jazz. Wednesday @ home vs. Suns won't matter. They'll be resting starters and maybe we'll sneak in a W. Phoenix just killed us last night, so a tiny moral victory can't hurt. But looking at the Sun's last night made me jealous and missing the depth and skills of the Kings of 2002-03. Hum....

well for a long time the Sonics were the third best team they went through that five game losing streak at a bad time...but if they and the Mavs happened to be the same division they would be in the fourth spot..big deal not much of a jump there...Boston in the East I can understand

Its clearing up now -- if we beat the Jazz tonight, OR Denver loses to the Suns, we finish ahead of Denver and #7 is no longer a possibility. So actually one last important night for us.

If we lose to the Jazz AND Denver beats the Suns, we would actually be in trouble and in serious danger of dropping to #7. But it doesn't seem very likely that both those games will go that way.

if you want the 6th spot the best thing that could happen is Houston beat the clippers. The suns beat the Nuggets. AND us loose to Utah. Then it would be settled tonight and Wednesday games wouldn't matter. it would be

5. Houston
6. Kings
7. Nuggets
