I hated that song!

I am a child of the 80's, and right now I am listening to Super80's.us on the computer. I have to let it out how much I really hate this song:

Tarzan Boy by Baltimora (at least that is what the queue is saying it's called. Do you remember it? It goes oh, oh, oh, oh like singing in tune the tarzan call.

Ick.

That is a very silly, stupid song, but I do love it anyway because of the melody!!

'Love Plus One' by Haircut 100 is an 80's song I can't stand. That and 'Walk Like an Egyptian'.

Nostalgia has made me love a lot of songs that I hated when they were new.

I hate that. Songs that I couldn't stand will come on, and I'm dancing and singing along like an idiot. Including the three songs already mentioned in this thread.

Isn't that the one from the listerine comercial? Works like listerine...tastes like cool mint!

I love Hootie and the Blowfish. Love their "Cracked Rear View" album. HATED "Only wanna be with you". Over-exposure to that song killed it for me, that's why i don't listen to modern radio anymore. I never heard of Hoobastank before, the first time I heard their hit song (The Answer) I thought it was cool, now I can hardly bear to hear it.

I'm sure there are a lotta other such songs around, eh?

as for cheesy 80's songs, what about "Video Killed the Radio Star"?

"Turning Japanese" -I (mercifully) can't remember the band's name.

When I'm bored, I'll often turn on VH1 Classic. It's funny to think I actually found some of that stuff cool. To this day, I own almost everything Hall & Oates ever recorded, including a vinyl disk released in Japan with the lyric sheet printed in Japanese.:o

I do the same as you regarding VH1 Classic, I watch it when I’m bored and there’s nothing else on. And that is why I haven’t been able to get "These Eyes" from The Guess Who out of my mind for the past few days! Loved that groovy concert clip, too. I also love the 80’s music flashbacks on that station.

oooooooh VH-1 Classic! I pay extra every month just for that station. I even watch the old 80's heavy metal classics. I'm so cheezy.

But another that makes my hair stand on end - anything by REO speedwagon.
