I Am strongly Considering a Trip to Seattle......

.....for the Sunday, July 27th game. Can anybody help me with information about hotel accommodations, for those that have been up to Seattle? I am not rich, so I am looking for nice, downtown and inexpensive. I am assuming Key Arena is close to downtown Seattle.

Downtown is a monorail ride to Key Arena. I have stayed both downtown and outside of downtown but very close to the Seattle Center complex where Key Arena and the Space Needle are. You might be able to find less expensive places to stay near Seattle Center, and then take the monorail into downtown if you want to sightsee etc around there. Unless you find a deal at one of the downtown hotels.

Purple Reign...get ahold of Jayne from Pink Poddle travel...here's some info she sent me recently on Seattle...confirm if rates are still the same.I do know that the current airfare from Sacramento to Seattle is $203 on Alaskan Airlines. I've been monitoring it and will continue. If the price changes, I'll let you know. Also, some of the hotels I've looked at that are within walking distance to Key Arena are the Hampton Inn & Suites and Comfort Suites.
