I almost hesitate to say it, but... Bynum?

It seems to me like the Kings would consider talking to him, at the very least.

He's done in Philly, and like I said about Oden, a Bynum/Cousins frontcourt would be scary, if he remains fit.

They'd have to let Reke walk to get him, but that looks more & more likely as each day passes; especially with McLemore and Thornton.

Seems like no one's talking about him...

No. And letting Reke walk so you could take a gamble on a guy who may be the next Ralph Sampson could cost you Cousins as well.

He's not working out for teams. They are just providing medical records. My guess is he gets a 1 year deal after most of the teams blow their cap space.

Heck NO! Dude is injury prone, has no heart what so ever and would take up a HUGE hunk of payroll. I you want to chase a risky big look at Odin or Anderson.

UGH! Bynum is my least-favorite NBA player, ever! He was a nobody before last year, then he puts up 18 & 11 (a stat line identical to Boogie's, but with less ORBs) and suddenly he's the best center ever. This guy makes Cousins look like one of those hyper-energetic fitness people. ZERO heart, ZERO work ethic, ZERO giving a s***. And on top of all that, his game would be terrible next to Cuz.

NO.

An emphatic NO from me as well.
If I were a team I would only touch Bynum if I had a Veteran-heavy squad...and I was signing him to a cheap 2 year deal.

No way I'd go more than 2 years....and no way I'd ever pair him and Cousins together...not at least until Cousins gets everything sorted out and because the dominant player that we expect.

I'd rather take a cheap gamble on Oden...and Oden isn't going to sign with us for anything cheap.

Most times, when people start off a thread with "I almost hesitate to say it..." they should follow their first instinct.

Bynum? No way. No how. No question.

I've never understood the fascination with Bynum. In eight years in the league, if you count last season as being in the league, he's averaged playing in 49 games a year. If you count the years he actually wandered on to the court, he averaged 56 games a year. In 8 years, he's played the entire 82 games in a season only once. Plus, if you look at his accomplishments, he's no great shakes! His best year in the league, a year in which he only played 60 games, was the 2011/12 season, and as pointed out, he put up 18.7 PPG, 11.8 RPG, and 1.9 Blocks a game. He's been a good shotblocker, but never a great shotblocker. He's not a good passer, and almost has a 2 to 1 turnover to assist ratio.

Now his numbers aren't terrible, but he's hardly a superstar, and his numbers would be more appreciated, if he were able to show up for work everyday. So no, I want no part of him. As mentioned earlier, I'd rather gamble on Oden!
