How Will We Do Without KMart, The Prediction Thread

I rarely start these type threads. Scratch that -- I never start these type threads. But here I am starting one. Lest Kevin's injury further depress the bluest fanbase in the NBA, let's turn lemons into lemonade and make a game of it.

Up to this point of the season, the Kings have largely been a one man team on offense, with Kevin averaging 30.6pts, while 6 other players (Thompson, Hawes, Evans, Noc, Beno & Casspi) divied up almost all the other scoring and averaged between 9.2ppg and 11.8ppg. So the task is: predict how those other players will do with Kevin out and his 22 FGA a game available to be distributed.

Kevin is supposed to be out 8 weeks. Today is November 7, so let us say that he will return for our game against Phoenix on Tuesday, January 5th, just over 8 weeks from now. During that time he will miss 28 games. This thread will be about predicting how the other players and team will do during those 28 games. Person who comes closest gets the completely unoffical tag "Boy/Girl Genius" and a used Burger King wrapper from the Whopper I had last night.

Format will be:

W-L (28 games):
Hawes PPG:
Thompson PPG:
Nocioni PPG:
Udrih PPG:
Evans PPG:
Casspi PPG:

Ah yes, delusions of grandeur. I love it.
Wrong! There are no delusions at all. Do we expect to lose those games? Of course! Would we ever pick the Lakers to beat the Kings. NO, NEVER!! NOT ON YOUR LITTLE TROLL LIFE! How about a little chant?

BEAT LA! BEAT LA! And, VF21's favorite...DIE LAKER SCUM! :D

Sorry for getting sidetracked, Brick. And now...back to the topic at hand.

W-L 9-19 (hoping tyreke start getting it together)
Spencer-15/8
JT-14/10
Noc-11ppg
Beno-9/5
Tyreke-18/5/4
Omri-13/6
I think our ball movement will improve, and Tyreke and Beno will get more assists, but our overall ppg production as a team will decrease 5-7ppg.
