How will kings gel when bobby and miller return...

when has bobby ever really gelled? he was always wild and unpredictable... thats what made him so great.... as long as he and mobley arent on the floor together... he'll be fine.... well, thats if he can even play.....

The year Bobby won sixth man, he gelled just fine. Coming off the bench, he's got to be a microwave - get cooking fast. Unfortunately, it will probably take him a month or two to get his shot back. I honestly doubt we will see him play again this year; regardless of how far we go in the playoffs. It's not even fair to expect him to be ready to contribute.

Luckily, that doesn't appear to be the case. We've heard from several different people that Bobby has been participating in the pre-game shoot-arounds and has been hitting a lot of shots, albeit one-handed. Remember, it's his off-hand that was hurt, so he can still shoot.

My head hurts....

I hate to be a doom-sayer, but more and more I keep thinking, GP orchestrated this whole trade-thing to get better in the FUTURE, not to win this year. I got a real bad feeling that this kind of question, "What will the new team do? Who will do what?" is kind of moot.

My heart hurts.... :(

With Miller back everything will be okay. And as far as Bobby comming back... i think it'll work out, he always has everytime he returns. I remember last year when we went through the season without Webber and we were 1st place through most of the season. When he came back it was downhill from there because he didnt get to blend in with the team early enough. Hopefully when Brad comes back that wont happen. But he's pretty good at adapting to things so i doubt it'll be a big problem

That's fantastic. I would really love to be wrong on this.

If I remember right, when Brad first came to the Kings he worked into the system almost immediately. Given a couple weeks to get some condition back, he'll be awesome.

If by some chance we should face the Suns in the playoffs, Bobby would probably be a big help on Nash. It seems to me that Bibby and Bobby ran rings around him when he was with the Mavs. And there won't be any Nick Van Exel to scorch us.

Actually in a lot of ways I think Bobby will have the easier adjustment, or at least the one likely to have fewer ripple effects. He kind of plays a self-contained game, and who is around him, and how they are playing, is not really much of a factor (nor a consideration). Brad though, if we were to use him in the role where he could actually make a difference, will have to be coming back to take a major role in running the offense, and with three guys who he has only played two total games with. Will also create a minutes crunch. Peja and Mike should be able to adjust, and Mike in particular will be happy for the reinforcements. But its going to be yet one more adjustment on the fly for the rest of the guys. Tough situation to be in come playoff time.
Don't over-think it. Miller makes the game easier for the rest of the team. Kings need Miller more than Bobby, as much as I like Bobby.

Bottomline is the Kings are not the Kings without a passing center who can nail the elbow shot--Brad Miller. Everything else we are watching right now at C is patch-work.
