Here's a new idea on how the Kings can handle the Allen Iverson situation...

Kings deal:
Mike Bibby
Brad Miller
Vitaly Potapenko
Jason Hart

Kings receive:
Marcus Camby
Andre Miller
Eduardo Najera
Alan Henderson

Denver trades:
Marcus Camby
Andre Miller
Eduardo Najera
1st round pick

Denver receives:
Allen Iverson
Brad Miller
Louis Williams

Philly trades:
Allen Iverson
Alan Henderson
Louis Williams

Philly receives:
Mike Bibby
Jason Hart
Vitaly Potapenko
Denver 1st round pick

Kings new line-up after deal:

C: Marcus Camby, Alan Hendersonr, Maurice Taylor
PF: Kenny Thomas, Shareef Abdur-Rahim
SF: Francisco Garcia, Corliss Williamson
SG: Kevin Martin, John Salmons, Quincy Douby
PG: Andre Miller, Ronnie Price, Jason Hart

Nuggets line-up:
C: Brad Miller, Nene Hilario, Jamal Sampson
PF: Joe Smith, Reggie Evans, Kenyon Martin
SF: Carmelo Anthony, Linas Kleiza, Yakhouba Diawara
SG: JR Smith, Julius Hodge, Dermarr Johnson
PG: Allen Iverson, Earl Boykins, Louis Williams

Sixers line-up:
C: Samuel Dalembert, Steven Hunter, Vitaly Potapenko
PF: Chris Webber, Ivan McFarlin, Shavlik Randolph
SF: Kyle Korver, Steven Smith, Bobby Jones
SG: Andre Iguodala, Willie Green, Rodney Carney
PG: Mike Bibby, Kevin Ollie, Jason Hart

Kings do this to get a better defensive PG that's role is to distribute the ball. Artest/Martin are the main options. Camby becomes the defensive center we've always needs. I feel this team is better in transition and can play the trapping/pressing style that Muss wants out of these players. We lose some in shooting, but Petrie will make that up in the off-season guaranteed.

No offense, but that doesn't make us better. Especially if you're just dropping Artest off the face of the earth and starting Francisco Garcia at SF.

Has Denver said anything to lead people to believe Marcus Camby is available? Not that I know of. Sure they have frontcourt depth if you count Nene (who missed all of last season due to injury) and Kenyon Martin (who'll miss all of this season due to injury). They'd be crazy to give up Camby, even if he's not the most durable player himself.

what about ron ron INDEED!! where is he? and i see another problem with that lineup. where's SAR? now that we would have camby in the mix for defensive and rebounding purposes why not add sar in that starting lineup to give us a balance scoring attack inside and out. im sorry, but kenny thomas isnt a starter for a contending team. but hey, neither is antoinne walker.

c-camby
pf-sar
sf-artest
sg-martin
p-miller

thats better
