I love NME's Dr. duo. Between Dr. Manhattan, and Dr. Fate, they shold be able to take on King Ghidorah, Sauron, and Imhotep. Mr Majestic and Ion = Superboy Prime. Vic Vega has no real powers, and seems like cannon fodder here for Electra. The real weakness for Endgame is a lack of telepaths. Psylocke has a distinct advantage there, as she could control her opponents, and face them against one another.I'm not sure what to do about Thanos though, as with the gauntlets he's pretty omnipotent. His weakness is pride, which could be taken advantage of by Isis...

I think there are some mismatches here in the villains favor unfortunately. The Scarlet Witch and Shrike seem about equal to me, but the rest goes in the villains favor. Cthlhu controls with fear, and must have some telepathic powers as well. Diablo's minions would take all of Buffy's attention, and she would be left vulnerable to his elemental attacks. Optimus Prime vs. Chernabog would be interesting, and if it was a day fight, I would give it to Optimus, but that whole raising the dead thing makes me wonder if he can really die himself, or is immortal. Advantage villains, although how Löwenherz managed to not do a write-up for his own draft is beyond me.

The elite eight will begin tonight, and I'll leave those polls open for 48 hours each.

Actually, my intent had been to put together a super cool video for my villain squad, but unfortunately, I haven't been able to figure out how to do so. Alas, it looks rather sweet in my head.

And besides, the power of my evil is self evident.

On to this match-up, and while I truly appreciate the vote of confidence, My plan really begins with sending Eris to deal with the Scarlet Witch. Ultra-powerful and mentally imbalanced superheroes are at the top of my dear Goddess of Discord's Christmas list.

With a little "inspiration" from Chaos incarnate, Ms. Maximoff may just do a silly thing like, I don't know, wish there were no more mutants or something. Then again that doesn't really help us in this match-up. Maybe Eris convinces her radiation is a terrible thing and should never have existed ... thus not infecting a certain experimental spider so many years ago. Or how about "never any Vampires" ergo our favorite Blonde slayer never takes up her first stake and remains a carefree cheerleader in LA. The possibilities are endless.

But because I can't predict what delecious scheme Eris will concoct (she is Chaos afterall) I'll have to proceed as though she simply neutralized lovely Wanda, leaving her a mass of mitigated madness. And while it's not very sporting, I'm commissioning The Shrike to eliminate both Kato and Zealot. They may be masters of hand-to-hand combat, but last time I checked, they can't control the flow of time ... nor are they living metalic weapons either.

And as a bonus, because Chernabog is on my sideline, every confirmed casualty on the heroes roster is an addition to my own. So I think I'll use the recently deceased and tortured souls of Kato and Zealot to plead to the remaining three heroes for rescue (yes, this can be done at night), luring them into a head on battle with my unholy trinity of Chernabog, Alma and Diablo with reinforcments from Undead Kato, Undead Zealot and The Shrike.

-So, Mr. Parker turned emo on us just from a little mind posioning from the Alien Symbiot. How do you think he'll be once Alma has had her way with him?

-Buffy may be the ultimate demon hunter and feel at home taking on another nocturnal enemy, but facing the Black God of Evil and Death along with the combined spirits of her dead allies and enemies will probably be a little much.

-I don't doubt Optimus Prime can take out Diablo, but once the Autobot leader places the Soulstone in the same compartment as the Matrix of Leadership, he'll find out that's what The Lord of Terror had planned all along.

Oh and did I mention should one or even all three heroes survive their encounters with my crew, I have humanities most basic nightmare batting clean-up
