Here we rise

O.K. ...

Nice vid, I just don't get what its getting at :)

I get it...its supposed to create a 'warm' feeling of togetherness between the Kings and Sacramento that hasn't been here since probably about 2002/2003. This movement is about building a 'bridge' between Sacramento citizens and their one professional sports franchise. I think it's a great thing, even if everything does have an empty feeling due to the arena issues and future of the team here. It's a good thing on the part of MSE...it's a good start, at least. All we have is our HOPE.

i don't know about the rest of u guys, but that put me to sleep. is it supposed to hype us up for the upcoming season? brick did a better job of that.....

Love the mural. But this video was.... kinda weird. I agree, Brick's was better.

I mean I can just imagine the focus groups this thing came out of... but the emotional notes it hits... ahh, yeah, I'm just not there. Whenever you immediately start thinking about what the producers of a video were trying to make you feel... that's a miss. Tellin it to ya straight MSE. Appreciate the effort though. The mural rocks, and I do like the slogan too.

But I'm psyched for the season!!!!

Holy crap that was bad. The voice came off as really sleezy. Kinda reminded me of a preview for those spin off movies that cluster together a bunch of the most recent comedy movies together and mocks them.

They should have hired Liev Shreiber or Morgan Freeman to do the voice over ;)

What's with making people feel bad by bringing up the housing crisis and unemployment again? People go to sports to ESCAPE from that.

Needed a James Earl Jones type of voice. Now that's a voice! :)

I think the point was to say that, together, Sacramentans will rise above those bad times, too. And the Kings and the fans will rise up above the recent bad times together. I'm ready to take that ride again. Let's hope we all get to take it together again. :)

I thought it was fine. Good positive message.

Yeah, I'm sure they were aiming for inspiring though. That one kind of felt like a demo you would present to give your bosses an idea of what you wanted ot do ratehr than a finished product. Its a good concept, but I'm not sure who greenlit the execution here. Punch it up guys!

God you guys are worse homers than I am. That was easily the lamest things the Maloofs have ever paid for...lamer than Andres Nocioni. I think that video may have converted a few fans to the Warriors
