Help at the 2

I would certainly keep BMac. He is way too young with way too much potential to send elsewhere. I would however have him spend about 95% of his time and energy working on defense. It is what we need and he is plenty athletic to become a good defensive player if that is what he is determined to do. Plus, we do not need him to shoot right now. The less he shoots the better we are. In fact, it would probably be best if he was not allowed to touch the ball at all on the offensive side for the next 1-3 years. Only wide open dunks off steals for BMac right now. Playing D, setting picks and getting rebounds is what we need from him. If he does these things well he could be a very valuable member of the team for the next 1-3 years.

now that's just silly. he came out of college touted as the premiere jump shooter of his draft class. he's gotta keep shooting them until his confidence rises to the level of his utterly perfect form. eventually they'll start falling. and if they don't, he'll likely just scrub out of the league altogether. i certainly don't disagree that he needs to put in a lot of work on defense, but "three and D" is the name of the game for mclemore. he needs to become a contributor in both of those respects...

Seems like Ben's teammates at Kansas did a better job of setting him up on the break than the Kings have so far. It seems like he is never set up quite right on the break, usually a little too late...maybe because of his speed. Not making excuses, just something I've been noticing. Vazquez even seemed hesitant to pass him the ball.

He's getting his chances, so hopefully something breaks soon for him.
