This is good news. Especially considering the former #3 man in the NBA is the Kings Team President.
It is bad news if it matters that the Teams President has anything to do with the suspension.

The right thing to do is to fine/suspend. To add, the fact that call was not made needs to be looked into. The refs for that segment of the game targeted Cuz. It was awkward to watch.

Absolutely deserved. The Kings would have had a major beef with the NBA if Scrotum had gotten away with his tug at Demarcus.

Yet, kudos to Cousins for maintaining his composure. It would have been easy for him to go nuts in that situation.

Good observation as I wouldn't have been satisfied with a mere push at Horford. Once I got over the shock and pain of what had happened, I would have gone after that little guy and squished him. Is there ever a time when retaliation is expected and at least at a player level, justified? This retaliation was minimal and sold well by Horford.

In defense of Scrotum, maybe he was just checking to see if Boogie was anatomically proportionate.

Hopefully DMC will see this as a sign to let the refs and league deal with some of the thugging he gets night in and night out, and it will help him let some it go so he can focus on the game.

I give major credit to Cuz for hustling back to box out for the rebound immediately after getting hit and also for walking away after getting called for a very questionable blocking foul.

It's going to be an ongoing development, but this is a much better control of emotions versus what I saw in the Clippers game where he went into foul mode in the last couple mins. I didn't like Cuz's attitude to keep fouling.

Yes, we got robbed on an out of bounds call where we were down 3 and some BS calls before that. Also, Chris Paul pushing Cousin's head early in the game, Blake Griffin acting as usual and getting away with it etc... I understand that. But the point was, we were down 3 and then 5 with some time left on the clock. Sure, the odds were against us to win or tie the game. But I've seen crazier things happen late in a NBA game. The Spurs were seconds from another ring until the "impossible" happened.

So yes, I loved how Cuz controlled himself in these instances against the Hawks. But he also was on the verge of slipping a few times and it was obvious whatever that was bothering him in the Clippers game was affecting his play. Live and learn. Keep improving, keep growing.

I think the call wasn't made because if you look at the video here (pause at 10 seconds):

Both the refs views were blocked, they couldn't have seen it

This could be a long year for Cousins. Lets hope he is up to the challenge.

I think teams are going to have guys go at him every game to see what happens. This time, he dropped Horford almost immediately after (who flopped) and never played another minute if I"m not mistaken after getting foul #5. Win for the hawks. He needs to be prepared for that happening.
