Have you ever moved down to lower bowl?

#1
I was at the Houston game this past Sunday, sitting in the upper level Row N. There were lots of empty seats in the lower level. I wish I were in those empty seats but could not afford them. I wonder if I were to ask the usher if I can move down to those empty seats, say towards the end of 3rd qtr or start of 4th qtr, do you think the usher would let me and the kids do that?

Have you ever done that (with usher's for permission)?

Thanks.

The lower bowl ushers are big douches. If you are sitting in a group of 3 in an empty row, and one of you moves to the seat to the right, theyll move you right back, even though no one has sat there for half of the game.

I saw a group of lower bowl people booing the ushers because of how chair Nazi they were being.

And this isn't even mentioning that the two times I let them "usher" me to a seat, they put me in the wrong row. How hard is it to look at a letter, walk to the letter, and walk until you sit on a number that matches your ticket?

So in summary, no, they will not let you move down for any reason. I've actually complained to MSE about the rudeness of their ushers. But what do you expect? I'm pretty sure they are paid quite crappily.

Hahaha, that must have been in section 101 or 124 area. Kenny the usher would write down the empty seat numbers after the first quarter and ask for tickets if anyone sat there. Yes he would make you sit in your seat. And you know what? He is right. People are asses who dont sit in their seats then have to move when the people show up. Now you are blocking the view of those behind you while you move.

I always befriend my ushers and treat them right. Cause when the dumbasses are around they are going to be on my side. Yes I've had people kicked out of games and so have others around me.

Speaking of blocking views, I always wait until a dead ball to sit back down in the middle of quarters. The usher "ushered" me to my letter and told me to sit down. I kneeled to wait for a deadball. Then they insisted I sit down because I couldn't be in the aisle, but they are the ones to make me come down the steps in the first place. Just plain incompetance.

Well, wtf are you doing up in the first place? That's what halftime is for! :p

I move to the closest seats I can get at halftime. Never been an issue at Arco or elsehwhere. I'm sure people that paid big $$ for the lower seats mind, but this is a moral quandry I'm not going to worry about.

I think it would make the arena appear full if the lower level is filled up :) who knows that might inspire our players to play hard when they see that so many fans are there....hehehe
