Harrington, Wells Open to Possible Return to Indiana
Dated: 07/05/2006 01:24:16 PM
Peja Stojakovic's departure could provide an opening for Al Harrington to return to the Indiana Pacers.
Harrington, who played the first six years of his NBA career with Indiana, is an unrestricted free agent who played the past two seasons with the Atlanta Hawks. He averaged a career best 19 points a game last season.
The Pacers also reportedly are interested in Sacramento's Bonzi Wells, an Indiana native who played at Muncie Central High School and Ball State.
Wells' agent told The Star Press of Muncie that his client wants a long-term contract and that at least seven other NBA teams have offered him a contract.
The 6-9 Harrington still has parents and brother living in Indianapolis and remains a close friend of Jermaine O'Neal.

*yawn* This stuff that's been said earlier, or recently, is just being rehashed by newspapers to make more discussion and more rumors.
