GW flop

Did anybody see highlights of Nets-Bobcats game? I think Wallace over(re)acted a little bit to the elbow from Krstic. Definately not an ejection material. Poor rookie's first start, gets double double and gets unfairly ejected.

Wow, Krstic's performance in his rookie season are pretty good even with his limited time. He seems to pick up decent stats every night.

I can't wait for Kosta Perovic to come to the NBA. His hands are as bad as Krstic's but he definitely makes his presence felt. If Kings have any hope of picking him up, they should do so.

That was a bad foul, but Krstic is definitely NOT a dirty player.

That was a weak elbow for GW to get so mad about. He got hit in the armpit, not the face.

Good stratergery (:p), flop, then pop up to fight and in the process get the dude who has a double double kicked out of the game.

bad call. it looked like a mix of flopping and elbow. F 1 would have been a better call, but he's a rookie, go figure.

jefferson was hella pissed at the end of the game about the ejection. he said that wallace has no talent so he resorted to flopping. his nickname for nenad is curly :D

**** Richard Jefferson. And he has no business calling anybody a scrub; he may be the most overrated player in the entire league.

has he worked his way to RFJ status yet??? :D

I watched the game. He was great. If that foul is ejection worthy, players like Garnett, Duncan, O'Niel would never finish the game.
Rookie has to live with it.
If that flop is all GW learned for 3 years as a King...

I'd have to agree with Richard Jefferson being overrated while having one of the biggest mouths I've ever seen. I have the "honor and privilege" of being able to listen to him plenty.

Didn't see the GW flop, but saw Ricky Davis attempt to decapitate Dwayne Wade.

Gerald is averaging over eleven points and six rebounds, to go along with one-and-a-half steals and a block a game, playing significant minutes for the first time in his career.

You must be using some new definition of the word "suck" that has not previously existed...

Well...compared to RJ, Wallace is a scrub.

He is playing O.K. at best for the Bobcats.

You remember how everybody dismissed a valid point that Barkley made last week, just because it came from Barkley? Well, that's how I feel about Richard Jefferson calling any other player a scrub.

Im with you on this one.
RJ inability to play smart, as well as his complete incompetance to shoot the ball may have been the key factor in the US not winning the Olympics. RJ is terrible and should never had been on that team.
A "scrub star".

Who wants to get elbowed by a guy that's about 40lbs bigger than you? If you're a rookie and you're going to use the elbows you'd better be ready to get called for it. They're not going to let you just come into the league, unproven, and get away with anything like that. Guys like KG, Duncan, Ben Wallace have been putting in work for years and years. They're not trying to take anyone out or play dirty to get an advantage and they weren't putting elbows into people's chests/faces when they were rookies.

RJ goes out and scores 42 right after I make these statements...oops.

Yeah I am really impressed with his 40% clip from the field and 60% clip from the free throw line. Averaging 11 pts per game on a expansion team is also really impressive. My apologies for suggesting that the "Great" Gerald Wallace blows.

Apparently someone forgot to inform you that the margin between "great" and "sucks" is, in fact, a fairly wide one...

I wasn't a big fan of keeping Wallace simply because I didn't think he'd ever really see that much PT. He's in his first year of real NBA play. I'm glad to see him producing and I think he may actually be able to mature into an adequate player.

It's a shame not everyone can be Tim Dunan or Kevin Garnett, etc. but to declare that he sucks or blows (or whatever derogatory term you want to use next) shows, IMHO, a lack of comprehension about the whole NBA experience. There will be players at the top and there will be those who never quite achieve greatness. That doesn't mean they are to be ridiculed. He's in the NBA - that says something, even if some people can't realize it.
