Outside of Kobe not sure there is another player I dislike as much as Dirk in the league.

50 pts though.. impressive.

I would hate to have Kobe on my team. Dirk is welcome anytime (athough I do dislike him, it is not like my dislike for Kobe :))

I used to hate him just as much, but after his on and off the court perfomances in Euro 05, I started liking him. Still, it is a guilty pleasure.

wow that shot was amazing...anyone notice how he jumped from about 3 ft behind the 3-pt line and ended up a couple ft. behind the free throw line? damn that kid is in athlete

also, anyone see that shot by fisher? that was crazy, shoulda been continuation i think...anyway mavericks stilll lose

That Derek Fisher half court shot should have been continuation!! That would have been even more amazing! Should have been a 4pt play.

Always nice to see mavs lose a game

I agree with that.

yeah, that shot was amazing. wow. I was keeping track since it was so close but thought D-town was gonna get the W but what a dramatic ending!!

I caught the last 3 minutes of this, quite a battle, and game by Dirk. But the Warriors just kept hanging around. Missed FTs in the final seconds costing Dallas, and J-Rich's incredible 3 pter getting the stunning win. That one got me outta my seat. ;)

The injuries to Howard/Griffin is def. hurting the Mavs... also their two of their top defensive players.

I think Avery's technical cost them at least and overtime. He needs to control him self especially late in a close game.

Dirk's missed FT, then Terry's missed FT really cost them though. Both in the final seconds when they had the lead.

FT's, Avery's technical didn't cost us the game.

3 Reasons why we lost:

1. Defense. I know we don't have our primary defensive players in the game (Griffin, Howard) but you can't give up 122 points and win a game. And if you do give up 122 points you better score 123.

2. There were 3 MIRACLE shots in that 4th quarter (and all 3 should've counted - Derek Fisher should've gotten that continuation I have no probs saying that as a Mavs fan) so that doesn't happen often. That J-Rich shot was sweet though, I have to admit....miracle shot, but incredible.

3. As a Mavericks fan I'm just happy their even still in the game with 4 of our top 8 out. Injuries are killing this team. And they're just tired. What was it, 7 games in 7 cities in a 10 day span or something? In that week we played you guys that was the start of a 5 games in 7 days, 4 time zones stretch that ended w/ that New Jersey loss.

I'd gladly give up the #1 seed for a healthy team into the playoffs.

Bad loss last night regardless...

Well, I just went by what I saw, which was the last 3 minutes or so. But making those two FTs (miss from Dirk, then the miss from Terry) late would of had you guys up by two. Thus left the door open for GS, which is of course why they fouled, hoping there'd be misses.

Agreed on the defense part, though.

I acutally think the call on Fisher's lob three was correct, saw it a couple times on replay also.
