He's nowhere close to being right. They didn't get jobbed, they got beat.

That may very well be true, but "jobbed" is their opinion. I would imagine that many fans feel that way...especially Warrior fans and anti-Mavs fans.

I hate the Mavs more than anyone (I am from houston after all) but there was no "jobbing" here. I do agree there were bad calls here and there but the Warriors lost their cool at the end and got outplayed.
Plus if Dallas actually makes a few threes, this game is over by halftime.

Yep, a well-deserved win for the Mavs. Warriors were jumping like clowns and making faces after every call even though almost the same calls went the other way few moments earlier. Baron Davis acted like a total prick, and so did Stephen Jackson, you could see him swear at the ref several times and it went unpunished.

The Warriors fot a flurry of bad call, but they have many players that can't keep their cool and lost it. Stupid on their part, but that doesn't change the fact that there were a flurry of bad calls. They got totally jobbed. Not only that, but apparently the new reals are... No laughing... No clapping...

Well to make it a series you need to control the outcome of the games and stern did just that. In the end the number of calls or number of free throws can end up to be similar but when they are called and whether they are to break momentum / gain momentum make a big difference. It seemed like the refs controlled the game more than the players deciding things and it could have been a good game otherwise

Does anyone really believe that the Warriors are capable of beating the Mavs in a seven game series?
I hate inconsistent officiating as much as the next guy, but it's an unavoidable part of this high-paced game. Doesn't mean the NBA is fixing the results of the series. As much as Stern hates Cuban, wouldn't he be fixing the series to have the Mavs lose? Or is his big master plan to get them all the way to the WCF and then cheat them out of a series?
This is ridiculous. I don't understand how anyone can enjoy sports and be a conspiracy theorist.

It reminds me so much of Game 3 vs. Utah, but also a bit of the Game 3 vs. Seattle with Mitch Richmond.

Mere hypo here, but would anyone not consider this to be the biggest upset ever in the NBA if GS could pull it off? I think the 94 Nuggets are actually better than this Warriors team.

Wow, this is pretty incredible. Again I really have to wonder if Avery Johnson is just wound too tight. He's not making good adjustments, he's not making good decisions, he's not reminding the Mavs that they're by far the better team. They're just a mess. They'll probably squeak through this series, but hard to see them winning the championship if they're so easily rattled.
Yes and no. IF it happens I think the 94 Nuggets would still be the more surprising story. You have to factor in the regular season record as being an indication that this may not be your typical 1 vs. 8. Also the Nellie coaching against his former team and protege angle may bounce a few extra intangibles to the Warriors side. And correct me if I'm wrong but the Sonics did take the first two games of that series, didn't they?
On the other hand this would be the first time for it to happen in a 7 game series and many predicted that this type of an upset could never happen in a 7 game series (although it has happened 2 or 3 times in an NHL 7 game series).

They are basically doing what they did in the finals last year. They are their best when they are driving hard to the basket, when they get rattled they try to shoot their way back in. You can just walk to the basket against the Warriors, just like the Suns, but it's like the Mavs get frustrated and forget that.
