Grizzlies @ Kings Game Thread

Did any of you guys thought of using Potato against Tsakalidis or Gasol? Because I thought he was good against Duncan last year.

Your right they aren't that smart. Kept saying we only went 7 deep when in fact we go 8 deep with Garcia in the lineup (hurt) which got annoying.

They did have some points, I would too complain if I were a fan whose team was losing the free throw disparity by that much. Wouldn't you do the same?

No i wouldn't beleive me we have seen plenty of it in recent years in fact last year. Peja Bibby Cuttino, Kenny and Brad we went to the line like 3 times a game. its not that hard when you don't penetrate are you understanding that at all? Nobody is going to foul Gasol shooting and 18 footer. Nobody is going to foul Battier shooting 3's and nobody is going to even guard Tskialidis other than that you had Miller shooting 3's and Jackson doing the same. Dahntay Jones took like 2 shots all night so were in the bloody hell do you expect to get fouled to be able to go to the line. In fact 14 times was probably a gift by the refs because they were getting drug in the 4th by the power hose that is the Sacramento Kings.

Agreed. He's on another level than last year, and his games vs. the Knicks/Wiz/Sonics have been sick. His hair is so bad though, he should have it shaved down.

I was wondering about Vitaly a couple times. He is a good post-defender.

Why we were out rebounding them and once again as i stated before they couldn't get inside on us other than some penetration by some guards. No need for Vitally to come in when our top 3 were getting it done.

I'm going to call shananigans on this one. I for one have complained many a times about the Kings and Free Throws. And I also know why we haven't gotten them sometimes in the past. And yes I know it's b/c we shot way too many jumpers. With that being said I can see why the Grizzles announces complained about it. Just like I've heard the Kings announcers do the same for the same reason. I understand that the Kings are now penetrating more and thus the higher free throws. I understand that. But I can see when they announcers were complaining. I'm not saying it was right or wrong. Obviously they are Grizzles homers and see problems with it.

I've watched too many teams in other Sports get the same advantage to a different degree. The Dukies for instance (UNC fan here) get that advantage even when they are not going to the hole for some reason or another. I can easily say we were getting that advantage but I can see where the announcers were coming from. If that's too hard to understand< I guess I'm missing something.

Basically what is boils down to is the Grizzlies players are stupid. They made stupid fouls and had stupid turnovers all night. Stupidity well cause that disparity. we are better than them and they will not have the 6th seed for long. Their announcers are stupid as well. They shouldn't have tripled teamed Artest when he drove in. 1 of the 3 stupid ppl are going to foul him. Its just stupid
