Is anyone else absolutely bothered by all these stories coming up that Griffin would be the MVP if it weren't for Durant and Lebron? I don't know why, but it bothers me tremendously. Oh wait! I know why! Because we have a better player on our very own team!
Per 36
Player A: 53% FG, 27% 3PT, 70% FT, 24.1 PPG, 9.7 RPG, 3.7 APG, 1.1 SPG, 0.6 BPG, 2.8 TOPG, 3.3 FPG
Player B: 49% FG, 00% 3PT, 73% FT, 24.9 PPG, 13.1 RPG, 3.3 APG, 1.7 SPG, 1.5 BPG, 3.9 TOPG, 4.3 FPG
Can you definitively say one of these players deserves to be third on NBA.com's MVP Ladder and the other doesn't even deserve to be in the top 10? This is an individual award, yet team record and (for Cousins in particular) reputation are always very influential variables. SMH
