Depending what we do with Tyreke could it be possible we make a run @Vasquez who has now fallen out of the starting line up most likely with All-Star PG Holiday coming over. If we don't sign Tyreke could we offer them some pieces (Thomas included) to try get him, I'm sure after a breakout season and proving himself there is no way he would be happy being 2nd fiddle all over again.

I think our priority should be addressing SF and getting another big. Doubt it'll be more than a 1-1 swap in terms of guards when you consider that they already have Gordon and Rivers and now Holiday, so I don't think it would solve any problems for us.

Vasquez, McLemore, Evans, PP, Cuz. Ya Evans at SF doesn't have size he does have the strength in the post, but you would be able to switch everything on the wings.

He's one of the few guards this team could realistically bring in that would make me fairly ok with Evans as the 'SF'. He's got great size, good passer, smart player ... a lot to like here.

Did the Pelicans give him his qualifying offer? I'm sure they did, but I haven't read that anywhere. Either way, he is restricted, and after trading for Holiday I would assume they'd be willing to let him go in some cases. Sign and trade?

Depends on what the Pelicans want to do in free agency, but we could offer them IT on a much smaller contract and save them money on what would be a backup PG anyway allowing them to use that Vasquez money on someone else.

Yeah I'd like that VERY MUCH, Is it possible tho?

Don't be so sure that Vasquez has fallen out of the starting lineup. Unless Gordon comes back sound and healthy (doubtful) or Rivers get a lot better (maybe), or they sign an awesome FA for SG (unlikely), the Pelicans can use a Holiday/Vasquez backcourt. Such a backcourt could potential causes a lot of matchup problems for the opposing team. I think Vasquez is going to be at least a sixth man type for the Pelicans plus he is on a cheap contract so I don't see any urgency to move him.

Vasquez would give the Kings a major upgrade at the point and allow them the flexibility to move Isaiah Thomas to a bench role, where he could be a great change-of-pace option. Most importantly, Vasquez offers the kind of leadership and intangibles that the Kings so desperately need, and which they passed on when they took McLemore instead of Trey Burke or CJ McCollum.

Finding the exact mix of assets that would entice both the Kings and the Pelicans to do a deal might be difficult, but a trade headlined by Tyreke Evans and Greivis Vasquez makes a lot of sense for both sides.

He would be fine third guard in Evans/McLemore/Vasquez rotation. Getting rid of Tyreke just to give him the keys - "hell, no!" Vasquez is a poor man's Holiday - makes slightly better scoring decisions as in shoots above .500TS, but is much worse defender. Vasquez dominates the ball and for a team with Cousins that's too much. Boogie is not a finisher, he should be put in a position to use his creativity and decision-making.
