It must be the curse of Chucky Brown. Westphal dissed Chucky Brown with the Sonics before he got fired, and the Kings brought on Chucky Brown at the end of his career, so we got a double dose of the curse.

I think there's a good possibility that Rick Adelman has some history with Voodoo....

this is the worst team ive ever seen play in the nba. in my entire life. some teams are just bad and get blown out every night. those teams dont count. but we are a below average team for 3 quarters, and then we forget how to play basketball. i cant even watch these games anymore. im done with this team this year. and to think i bought nba league pass for the first time because i thought this team was gonna make a playoff push. what a waste. at least living in so cal, i can watch an actual team that can finish games and plays like a team. i hate the lakers, but sometimes i wonder why i put up with this franchise. i became a fan in 2000, but now i realize that those years were just a miracle, this is what you expect with this franchise.

Honestly if you only become a fan of teams that are winning, that would possibly make you a bandwagoner.

yeah i was 11 years old in 2000, and had never seen basketball. all my friends liked the lakers and that got me into basketball, then i saw the kings with jwill, cwebb, peja, vlade, christie and fell in love with the style of play. i almost cried when cwebb got injured. i supported this team to this day, even through the brad, bibby, peja experiment, having the worst record in the league 2 years ago. finally last year we had a glimmer a hope that something better was ahead, we competed every night for alot of the season. i was proud to support this cast of young guys who played hard. this season is nothing like last year. im just pissed because i wasted 160 dollars on this team. heck i got tickets to the kings vs laker game at staples center before the season started. what did i go see? a blow out that was embarassing to watch. the lakers weren't even trying hard, and this team just looked like they layed down and were ready for a night in LA. this is the only NBA basketball team iv'e ever liked.

Compare the composure of the team that began the season to now. Sure, the team in the first four games was clearly flawed and playing a weak schedule. But the players believed that they were better than they were. (Fans weren't the only ones with inflated expectations) Now they're playing worse than they are.

says it all.... this team is pure garbage.... Evans should just take off the rest of the year officially, cause he looks to have unofficially be on vacation right now.... and if its the injuries then he needs to just sit...

To be more specific, they are playing worse than they are in the 4th quarter. People can try ot ignore it and lump it all together all they want, but we played up to our talent for 3/4 here. Actually still a little below, but easily enough to be slapping the Warriors around by the end of the third. But we have got one bleeping hell of a complex now. This goes beyond just looking over your shoulder waiting for the other shoe to drop. This is approaching black comedy. But its not all game. Many of the complaints around here have actually been resolved for the bulk of games over the past few weeks. But every single time, just every time, the 4th quarter rolls around and we completely panic. If I was a coach I would actually KILL to get thos gig right nowm because all I have to do is give these mental midgets engouh confidence to play a decent 4th quarter and I am in every single game at this point.

Losing is a problem that builds on itself. It will grow and become a habit almost and an expectation. While its obviously not all one persons fault we are now paying dividends for messing around with lineups and rotations. Our players don't have confidence in each other and over the course of a game they forget to believe in their team mates. If everything else was the same but we used the rotations we all talked about a hundred times and I am sure the staff talked about many many times in the off season from the start then they would be playing better. Then it just comes down to intervening when the youth starts to show through on the floor.

2 seconds to go they are inbounding down by 3. The only thing you have to stop is the 3 point shot so if you put 5 guys out around the 3 point line you win. You win from the sideline even if the players fail to execute correctly there is no way you can lose. We need to be calling more plays from the sidelines we need to rotate out players who start 1 on all in the fourth quarter even if its just for 30 sec while you talk to them and get their head back on straight. The game gets close to ending and the players stop playing with anyone else and its happening every game thats something the sidelines need to address.

Tyreke - worst night of your career in finishing. But you seemed to be moving well. What's the deal? Go see an optometrist, why don't you!
Beno - great game, but you contributed to the choking in the 4th. Why are you so friggin streaky?
Pooh - what happened to your jump shot? Without a reliable jumper, you're not going to get minutes in the NBA, but you probably knew that.
Donte - new rule: if Donte misses two shots in a row, he sits for the rest of the game.
Omri - same as Donte's new rule.
DeMarcus - congrats, punk. You led the meltdown tonight. Proud?

One thing I'm so sick and tired of seeing, is Kings' players high-fiving and celebrating like the game is won every time they get up 10 or more points. They did it again tonight. Win the damn game, then celebrate. The coach needs to start fining guys like 50K if they celebrate before the final buzzer sounds.

Hey, I watched the game on Internet. At the end (1 sec before end) I went to work (Israel time) knowing That the kings were F_CKING won. This evening I saw the titles of this game and understand that I missed the real show! Amazing team. Amazing Coach.

I notice a pattern here. Every game we go to Tyreke and Cousins down the stretch in the 4th quarter and all they do is turn the ball over. I know Tyreke is our star player, but right now, this season, he just sucks. The 4th quarter meltdown here wasn't due to selfishness, it was due to just plain stupidity and sloppiness coming from our supposed best players. I just don't understand, don't understand why we can be executing so well, everything going fine on every possession, we are up big, and then suddenly Tyreke decides to not move the ball and just shoot a jumpshot. I'm really having a hard time trying to comprehend this, it's like your frikin ball movement got you the lead, why the **** are you going away from it? In this game Tyreke shared the ball pretty well, on the break, along the perimeter, just passing it well in general. Come the 4th quarter and like his brain rots or something.

And Cisco's shot with 13seconds left on the shotclock? WTF man this is our veteran leader here basically making one of the most stupid plays in the whole game. What, what are you trying to achieve Cisco, by taking a 3 when you're up (was it by 4 or 5?) with 13 seconds left on the shot clock and less than 30 on the gameclock. You make it, awesome, you just won the game, which we could also win if you just hold the ball and force the Warriors to hit tough shots. You miss it, we increase their chances of winning by a good percentage.

UGHH at this point I really don't know what goes on in our players' minds. I'm frustrated as hell, and I want to see the guys responsible for our meltdowns being called out.

Maybe it's just me but I just wish that PW and the Kings could develop AT LEAST ONE, just one, play that can be called from a timeout that will give us a good shot. A pick and roll, a high screen, ANYTHING besides an ISO play. If we had scored one basket out of every timeout in the 4th quarter before the fouling started we win this game.

Maybe Reke & Cousins think they are better than they actually are right now? Confidence is good, you want confidence from your players. But, not taking in any advice that would be beneficial will hurt them and just make them have egos and it would be as if your talking to a doll.

This is very overlooked. What the HELL was he thinking. Hold the damn ball. You're up by 5 with 30 seconds left! You can't loose that game! Give it to Beno and let them foul him! It actually seemed like the Warriors were content with just letting the shot clock wind down at that point. Ridiculous.

4th quarter melt downs are indicative of very poor coaching. You have to fire Westphal at this point. Nothing left to do.

This was one of the most unbelievable Lins in the history of the Kings.

Mark this - when the season ends, you guys are going to be happy that the Kings got 1 more loss and the Warriors got 1 more win.

I dount the difference is going to be just one game.

wow brick i applaude you for the epic girls list. i have my vote down for thread of the year...wait there were grades between each picture? even better

Did Westphal have any reported comments on Garcia's shot?

Haha, call me crazy, but when we were playing well and up at one point, Westphal called a timeout and I thought to myself "I bet he's telling the guys, something like: Ok guys, I know we're up, but not all hope is lost. You guys can lose this, just play like we've been practising. You guys have been doing it well every 4th quarter so far, let's not have a let down. Now go out and lose this game!" ... sure enough, we blow the lead and start giving up fast break after fast break. That's the amount of confidence I have in this team at this point - I'm actually starting to believe we want to lose.

Brick- Let me say that you absolutely outdid yourself on this thread. The "quality" is spectacular! :p
