IMO the season starts the day after the previous season ends. At least for the Front Office it should.

Considering the condition the Maloof's left the Kings in I am very happy the way this past season went. IMO Vivek and crew have done exactly what they said they would do.

I think some of the negatives posted actually resulted in positives. Yes Tyreke was not resigned. Yet the Loss of Tyreke Netted Vasquez. Vasquez was a key piece in the trade that brought Rudy Gay to the Kings.

The fact that the Kings Brain Trust danced around after drafting Ben Mclemore has generally been derided. Yet the First year player has shown he belongs in the NBA. Sure he scored 30+ last night but the little things show his promise. At one point in last nights game the ball was loose and it looked like Len would chase it down. McLemore went by Len like he was standing still and grabbed the ball. Ben has just scratched the surface in Season one.

As the Sign Lady said last night, "The Futures so bright, I gotta wear shades."

Vivek said to us all up front that this season was not about wins. I took him at his word.

Really happy to see Ben have a monster outing. This is the first game where I could see the Ray Allen comparisons. Hopefully he can get a lot better in the summer and come on strong next season.

D+: Solely based on the basketball moves and the team's development

For all of the excitement around our 19-21 record with the big 3 playing, only 7 of those wins came against .500 or better teams. The other 12 were against Orlando twice, Milwaukee twice, Philly, Boston, Denver, Cleveland, New Orleans twice, New York and Minnesota. So, it was a more promising run but I don't know that I'd jump on the we would have been a .500 team if we'd had the team all season bandwagon.
