This is not true. He is employed by the Kings and is not a college student. He stopped by these boards last year to gauge what we, as kings fans, wanted to see out of our social media team. He took the perspective of multiple sectors of Kings fans before jumping in. He is also active on his own account on twitter. I'd say our social media presence has been killer in the last year since they revamped that team.

I dont think it's fair to make generalized statements based on one tweet that you didnt agree with. A lot of NBA teams' social media accounts take playful jabs at each other, and if it's in jest, then why does it matter?

Ya, they have been much better recently by being more engaging and active. The social media guys also all keep in touch, or at least that's what my friend told me who ran the Grizzlies accounts so you obviously see certain teams interact more. It's all still evolving a lot and they are trying to figure out what works and what doesn't... like the Houston guy who learned it isn't ok to put a horse emoji next to a gun emoji and say it will all be over soon...

Problem with WCS IMO is motor, not being uncomfortable or feeling his way of learning. "Passion for the game" was a pre draft question. Joerger is going to have to meet that road between getting performance out of physical abilities. At some point down the road you hope that WCS will still be quality if he doesn't always have that focus

From watching last night's game I would say Joerger doesn't need any help managing his rotations. I happily leave it to him.

First time in awhile I wasn't screaming at the TV for the Kings to make a lineup change or call a timeout to stop momentum/fix something. Could just sit back and enjoy without coaching from the couch!

We have nice depth in the front court and wing positions. Lawson and Collison can hold down the point. It's the 2 guard thats the big x factor for us. Afflalo has to be steady and either Ben or M. Richardson needs to be big off the bench and we can match with anyone.

I don't mind trash talk at all. I think it's fun and also can have an actual impact, getting into peoples heads and changing the flow of the game. But after the game is over? Meh. As someone else said, and I agree with, I prefer the winner to act like they have been there before. I also really like clever, playful banter. I guess I'd just rather be the one responding to the shots than handing them out when there hasn't been much to back it up for the past decade.
No thanks. "Act like you've been there before" is just a bunch of respectability rhetoric that I am not here for. Sportsmanship, IMO, is probably the second-most overrated thing in sports.

On the contrary, I always enforced it to the degree if you don't display it I would accidentally hurt you.

You taunt up. You taunt down its just an insecure look at me bully move, and oops that asphalt is kinda rough in that spot. Unless of course you've got some sort of rivalry thing going or the kids you just squashed were displaying ego unbecoming their station. That nonsense on twitter is only reasonable to the degree that Booker has been acting the part of the young punk.

Some random thoughts about the game:

-- Love our new coach. He's active, intense, and demands his team to stay focused. There were a few times last night that we went into a lull and he immediately called timeout and regrouped. Karl would stand there with that smug look on his face like we were some 60 win team that would figure out how to get back on track.

-- The defense from last year was night and day. Players were active, rotating property, and attacking

-- Our offense wasn't as predictable as last year and we seemed to be getting players in the right spots to take shots or attack the basket

-- Matt Barnes, as pointed out by other posters, is extremely underrated. His basketball IQ is extremely good and he rarely makes mistakes. He's also still pretty active and athletic for his age

I'm excited to see how we look against the Spurs tonight!!

You accidentally hurting me probably wouldn't work out as well for you as it did when you accidentally hurt other people.

Was not expecting such a complete performance Barnes was player of the game for me and Ty played solid and Cousins in the 3rd play like himself. To make it even better every single team that we are in competition in for the 8th seed lost Twolves/Mavs/Pels/Houston.

It's only 1 games but these regardless of there being 80+ games to go are must win games for a team like us and we stomped them.

Speaking of our competition:
-T-Wolves: I like them a lot, but they are still mostly young, so they will lose some games they should win. Comes with the territory.
-Mavs: old and injured, time to take 'em out back behind the shed and put them out of their misery
-Pels: AD will now know what Cousins felt last season with a coach who doesn't know what defense is and even 50 points isn't enough to win you a game
-Houston: Ha! Harden will have a great season stats wise, but they couldn't beat the Lakers (who suck). They can't (and won't) defend anyone

We have a good chance this season as it's kind of a changing of the guard, at least for the lower seeds in the West.

Defense is fun to watch when you have defensive minded players and a defensive minded coach. I thought the second unit was key to us early when they first came in. Turned a defecit into a double digit lead. Allowed Cuz to sit. Coach Joerger, where have you been all these years? Glad your here.
I just had to extend the first sentence to imply that we will see more. :) This game showed very much what a proper match of coach and players can get you. It's only one game, though, isn't it?

Nobody is garbage. Believe it or not, they are all better than the name caller. We can be more mature than to use the terms "garbage" or "trash." Koufos is working hard.

I think the KK Cuz duo can work, but it just looked bad against the suns. now watch how solid it will be against Aldridge and Gasol, a true tandem that stays low and not at the 3pt line

Uh lma is basically dirk 2.0. he makes his living on the perimeter
