What....da.....****....?

The sarcasm and humor of Bill Walton is lost upon most people.

Do you guys really think he's some nut that believes last nights game was an epic showdown between two west coast juggernauts? It's called sarcasm and I was enjoying it most of the night.

It's funny to watch Grant start out strong with Bill and by the end of it you can tell he's fed up with calling the game with him. Too much talk about Wilt and old players from the 60's. Too much talk about college basketball. Too many weird analogies like "If you've ever felt small, try sleeping in bed with a mosquito". And everyones favorite "Throw it down big man...throw it down!". It's good to hear Bill Walton once in a while but I prefer him announcing when were losing because he doesn't mind telling everyone exactly what the Kings are doing wrong.

As far as the game went, how the heck did Tyreke let himself get dominated by PJ Tucker?

Ah, the Sacramento Kings, where 8-10 is a positive sign :D

On a less sad note (or maybe more sad), I agree with you. But I think it has more to do with them having received good coaching than it is a winning culture.

Yeah, I didn't want to go there, but that was initially my post.

you must be upset Cousins didnt give you any materiel to badmouth him about tonight?

Not at all. I would love nothing more for him to grow up and just play basketball because I enjoy watching his talent on the floor. I'm just wondering if you can ever come up with new material. You have almost 4,000 posts and they are all about Smart's rotations and how Cousins is a good guy when he does something a normal human being would do.

Good post. I really get a kick out of Walton and I love his passion for basketball and life in general. Yes, he can say some annoying things at times but, overall, he offers so much more than Jerry Reynolds who has just repeated the same drivel for the past 20 years.

An excellent question, to which my only guess is that we're not going to see any real hard defense played by Tyreke for the rest of the season because he's already checked himself out of it (and maybe out of this organization). Not sure how much of a weight advantage Tucker has over Tyreke, but he was simply overpowering him in the post (which says a lot).

When it is all done and we're dividing up everything, you take Walton and I'll take Reynolds.

Don't put that on Tyreke giving up. He didn't get beat by being lazy. Tucker looked like Bonzi Wells out there. And I have no idea what got into him because Reke is a powerful SG, but he was flat getting bounced back.

It is so tragic, what's happened to Reke. He has a great season, then his role on the offense is decreased, then he's moved from 1, to 2, to 3. And even worse, Isaiahj stole his heart and now everybody thinks that Reke has no heart! Oh, you poor soul,Reke.
