^^Oh, good grief. The reason for losing was Bibby? What a crock.

Why do they go to him for clutch shots? Because a lot of times he makes them. It wasn't a stupid decision, IMHO. It was pretty much the ONLY decision with 2.5 seconds left on the clock. You can't go inside to SAR in the post ... there just isn't enough time. You have to go with a jump shot.

Agreed, VF. But because Bibby IS the first option, everyone knows it and can defend it like the Spurs did last night. Pity that Peja is not an option in these cases! :o

RA = C- didn't do the right things at the right time. We did not use Skinner to show inside blocking presence (at least for 5-10min) we didn't use zone when their outside shots wasn't falling to take Duncan low post away(they scored).

Why is everyone bitching about OUR missed free throws??? We missed 8 and the Spurs missed 7 so it was pretty much a wash(even though we lost by one point). Our main problem was the lack of interior D on penetration(Hello Rick???? You have a shotblocker sitting on your bench who didn't even play) and our frontline went to the free throw line a total of 7 TIMES!!! As someone pointed out....we had the Spurs in the penalty for the last 10 minutes of the game and couldn't capitalize. Ridiculous....

In the first I saw Parker drive baseline and take it up against Brad and this should have been an easy block. Instead Parker makes the friggin' layup.

I rarely agree with you because of your RA biases, well hatred....but you are right. Our guard could not keep Parker in front of them and had zero shot blocking behind them. Brad and Reef are terrible help defenders, it puts our gaurds in a terrible position. Rick, Brian Skinner can block shots, you may want to bring him into the mix.

Also, I loved seeing Peja go to the post, he had an advantage on Bowen, and most peolpe who gaurd him. Unfortunately, he was blocked and we never saw him try again. That is both Peja and RA's fault.

Based on those two problem alone RA should get a D.

That is definately a problem, just like shooting 40% from the line. Those are free points that you just can't afford to give away. If you don't that that can cost you games look no further than game 7 of the 2002 WCF Finals.

Um the rational for pointing to the Kings FT's as bigest problem is becuause the Kings lost. Had they won then Spurs Fans could look at their FT's. Moreover the Kings are normaly a very good team at the line, so when they miss 8 of 16 then loose a game by one point it is very clear that had they shot their normal 70 somethign percentage they would have won the game. As for the interior defense heck yeah it's a problem and chances are if they could some how adress it they would be a better team and would have put on a better show last night. But one of the most fundementals of the game is make your FT's.
