That's quite a video. I wonder how many people on this forum would want a coach who answered questions like Smart does. Keep watching and see the effect on TRob. TRob doesn't sound like he has a clue what he is supposed to be doing. Is that TRob's fault? Isn't there a tweet where TRob indicates he has no relationship with Smart? There's no point in saying anything more. I'm pretty burned out by this franchise.

TRob on if he was told why he didn't play in the first half: "I don't know. I don't ask him for anything really anyways."

Not sure what to take from that. Nothing positive, that's for sure.

At least the Kings are in Sacramento in the first place. To the Niners you are just a province.

I understand what you're saying but I just can't get past the maloof's nixing every arena deal that comes along so they can leave. They're liars and they've crapped on the loyal fans enough times that I've reached my endurance with them.

You don't know how much I'd love to see another owner in here that will commit to Sacramento. Until that happens or if it never happens, I'm through with any support for any maloof product. However that turns out, so be it.

I don't want to trash the Kings, the team I've followed for over a quarter century. I just have had it with maloof's. I wish it could be different but it isn't. :(

I wonder what the issue is?

tendonitis maybe.

He said he had an MRI so correct me if I'm wrong but no muscle or bone damage was there.

Thought he hit it against someone and it was bruised?

Yeah, some bruise to keep you out for what is it? 5 games?

Thats why i was curious if there was something else there.

I'm not medical in the slightest so i might be sounding extremely remedial at the moment.

It's not uncommon to smash your knee into something and take 2-3 weeks of rest before you are comfortable on it again. I didn't see/hear he got an MRI but if it did come back negative my guess would be he won't be out too much longer. He has been doing pre game warmups so it can't be too serious.

I think it's becoming pretty apparent that Tyreke is not the most durable of players.

I don't go to as many games as I like and try to enjoy them, win or lose. My 9-year old son asked if we could leave at the half. I obliged him at the end of the 3rd. Sad.

Making a child sit through 3 quarters of this disaster may warrant a CPS report . :)

You're gonna run out of girls Brick.

Siiiiigh. Just sell the damn team Magoofs.

I don't think it's going to happen. I think they are going to go "Al Davis" on the league. This will get worse before it gets better.

at first I wanted to ask 'how?', then I thought of Murphy's Law and that I should not be asking that question. then, however, I came back to 'seriously though, how?' Reke leaving, Cuz pulling an Artest and getting suspended in perpetuity, the whole damn arena collapsing? this is approaching rock bottom very quickly.

Maybe the quicker, the better. At some point the level of suck-a-tude should reach the point where the NBA will step in and tell the Maloofs to go build a sandbox to play in and either turn over the team to the league or sell. The value of this team must be dropping by the day.

I wasn't aiming the statement at you personally, it's more the "facebook" culture comments that just shout names and trades.

"Trade for D12!!"
"shuld av drfted lilared"

It annoys me to see people trumping Lillard as a worldy when he was a sure fire bust and a quincy douby before the draft, nothing more nothing less. I don't doubt there are countless knowledgable basketball fans on this site who had foresight of certain moves and picks that could have worked to our advantage, so i don't deem to slight anyone by speaking in generalities, but the point still stands, in general, it's easy to go back to any draft and find a pick that looks great now and just say it in capitals on a forum or a facebook page.

Yep. Everyone bashing Petrie now for not drafting Lilard was calling him a "chucker PG". For starters, it's still far too early to make any judgments on rookies. Even so, that last Trob interview is really disturbing to me. He seems utterly lost as to what he's supposed to do and didn't make it seem like he was getting any direction or leadership from Smart.

This. This is also a large part of the reason that, while I liked Drummond's potential, I thought Sacramento was the last place he needed to be, as we seem to be incapable of coaching or developing young, raw talent.

We could have had Rondo too... and Roy Hibbert...

yeah it's easy to go back to a draft and look for a "better pick"

uhhh no, its a little different. there were plenty of people here that thought we should take Lillard. hell, even the Kings said they were really high on him after his workouts here in Sac pre draft. this isnt just hindsight, i wanted Lillard before the draft happened

exactly im with you on that. now that the season is a complete loss, im gonna root for 30+point blowouts every night. that way SOMETHING will have to be done. and then maybe we can finally get that #1 pick, which will be a little harder for Petrie to screw up

I wonder if constant double figure b low outs would get the Maloofs to fire Smart. They seem to be wedded to him. It's sick.

Ask the bobcats how that worked out for them.

It's not different at all, I'm sure you could find a kings fan somewhere that wanted us to take Rondo.

I think most people on here wanted MKG before the draft with a smattering of drummond. Opposition to lillard was vehement because of our PG situation at the time.

Obviously you watched a lot of Weber state and knew his game would translate to the NBA.

I wasn't trying to turn this into a pi**ing contest about who knows the most about bball. But my point still stands.

yes i agree most wanted MKG, myself included. but he wasn't gonna fall to 5.
and we ended up adding another PG after the draft anyway (Brooks, who i wont even begin to rant about right here) so obviously Petrie wasnt opposed to adding a PG to the backcourt, which makes it even more weird that they didnt go with Lillard after he was so impressive in his workouts here
