After many years on this board, I've never reacted to a single game and then got on the board and called for heads to roll (Jason Thompson notwithstanding). But tonight this team has pushed me over the edge. Tonight I feel for the first time that, without a doubt, this team is poorly constructed, poorly coached, and led by a weak-minded brute who is his own worst enemy. I'm talking about Cuz, not Karl. But I'm ready for Karl's head to roll, too. I think he's just hoping to add some wins to his record by applying the same formula he used in Denver. A formula that doesn't win in the playoffs and isn't suited to the players on the Kings roster. Karl coached 30 games last year, and (so far) 32 games this year. That's over 75% of an entire season (and don't excuse half of those games because he didn't have a pre-season; that excuse has become weak and tiresome). If things are looking this bad after that many games, Karl just doesn't have it and is not likely to find it. He's gotta go, no matter the PR nightmare that looms because of it. And tonight Cuz proved to me that, without a doubt, he's weak-minded, self-destructive, and is never going to take a team to the promised land as its leader. Sorry for all of you whose love for the Kings requires Cuz to be THE MAN. But you picked the wrong horse. He just isn't (the man) and isn't going to become it in this lifetime. He'll have some monster games, but he'll also get bested regularly by role players with half of his talent, but enough smarts to know how to take advantage of his weaknesses. Spare me the stats that you think prove his ability. I have no doubts about his abilities. But lots of people have incredible ability on and off the basketball court, and yet they never seem able to put it all together and find success.
