Way to be disingenuous, Brick.
You know as well as we do that with the upcoming schedule, the Kings are effectively not 4-6.
With the way they are finding ways to lose, they should not be favored to win but 1 of the next 12 games.
If they (quite likely based on the season thus far) go 2-10 or even 4-8, that makes them 6-16 or 8-14.
Go ahead and trot out the statistics that support a 6-16 team making the playoffs.
Then realistically compare those teams' mentalities (and coaching) to this team and coaches.
They blew the games they needed to win already this season.
They treated those games lightly at their peril.
Every time they got a lead (or even were tied!), they played noticeably lazier and more reckless, leading to more turnovers.
You can ignore the weaknesses as long as you want, but the writing of this season is already on the wall. It's practically graffiti-ied all over the shiny new arena.

SMH.
Its a new team with a new coach, the fact they haven't done everything right is exactly what you would expect. And indeed given that he's also a very good and disciplined coach, its also a reason to expect us to eventually win MORE, as the team comes together and the coach installs more play to play discipline. When you play a certain way because you just do, instead of because you were told to.
And by the way, the brutal pacing of the early season notwithstanding, the NBA plays a balanced schedule. If they give you an unceasing murderers' row and weeks at a time on the road early -- which goes on for us all the way through early December, then there are going to be some nice baby soft stretches and long homestands as we get deeper into the season. Just the way it works. A team that stood at 1-9 after playing Golden State 4 times, the Spurs 4 times, and Cleveland 2 times in the opening weeks of the season would actually have a real shot at making a run later in the season because all of the automatic losses were accounted for.
