In my experience Kobe would make that shot with any of our players right on him. My enemy the Lakers did a very good job on that last play. You got to beat them. Love our team.

1. It's legal if your initials happen to be K.B. and you're wearing number 24.
2. It's not just you.
NBATV even acknowledged that Kobe shoved Sergio out of the way, all the while praising Kobe for "wanting to win so badly". So, kids, it's OK to cheat as long as you do it because you really want to win.

I really wanted to win so does that justify me driving out to L.A. to shoot Kobe? Methinks not

I'm not sure who the "goat" tonight was. JT was awful, Coach Paul made a little error and seemed to acknowledge it in the huddle, Sergio was forced to play big mins w/ depleted back court and lack of ball handers, Udoka bricks absolutely critical FT's only a minute or so after Kobe bricked two FTs - etc, etc. All I know for sure is Beno was outstanding with 19 pts and 13 assists, Hawes was Hawesome against all odds, and Casspi magnificent throughout

As far as Rodriguez being 6'3 - no way. The Kings list him at 6'3 / 176. I believe the 176 lbs. They also list Udrih 6'3 / 205. Beno looks at least one full inch taller than Sergio and obviously a lot more built.
Sergio wasn't suppose to guard Kobe but Vujacic. Look at the replay. Udoka was on Kobe and he left their both to Sergio who also was pushed by Bryant who is 10 time stronger then him.

I'm surprised Kobe's hands didn't punch through Sergio's chest in a spontaneous moment of gore. Though I'm also surprised they didn't call Kobe's flying tackle a flagrant foul... on Sergio.

It's simple.

If we have a defensive presence to anchor the interior against the likes of Gasol and Bynum we win this game handily.

To be completely honest I was happy seeing Kobe playing against us on the perimeter, especially when being guarded by Donte. The Lakers were far more deadly when they got the ball to Gasol and Bynum in the post because neither Hawes or Thompson are strong man defenders.
We can put in KT, but he's undersized and kills us on the Offensive end.

So I'm not going to put the blame on any of the Kings tonight. Everyone contributed to the almost win in the same manner that everyone contributed to the barely lost.

Our young team played fantastic, and they know they can win these games.

I'm praying for Geoff to make the move to bring in the big man we need so we can start winning these games with a bit of breathing room.

can't wait till the Lakers are on the down and Kings are filling staples center as the Kings put a asswhooping on the Lakers
A little post excavation here but...Larry you might want to do a bit of a history check there. The Lakers haven't ever really been "on the down." Once Kobe finally retires they'll probably trade Adam Morrison for John Wall or win the lottery and trade the pick along with Vlade Divac for Lebron James or something.

The Lakers are a big market team with a lot of bandwagon fans around the globe. They are the backbone of the NBAs success and future. They will NEVER be on the down, not if the NBA has anything to say about it. Oh, that's right, they don't....wink, wink.

It could happen, look at the Knicks... although that had a lot to do with Isiah Thomas and Jim Dolan.

JT is a head case. He completely meltsdown when things aren't going quite right - then things go completely to Hell. He needs some man-training.

jt is having child like tantrum pouting fits on just about every offensive and defensive call made against him...his negative body language and crawl back to the bench is so painful to watch and is affecting every part of his game...the sophomore jinx appears to be rearing it's ugly head and he needs to change his pouty attitude fast before he completely tanks...cmon jt life should be great for u making all those millions playing the game u love...so get it going in reverse fast dude by setting your mind and attitude right for the team we can't afford any negative energy it's bad chi...we need your presence now until that time petrie finds us a dominating and over powering defensive minded brickhouse to protect our soft and unathletic middle...

I really hope they keep playing like crap, forcing Kobe to play 48 minutes each game until he collapses. Then, I hope the Kings make it to the playoffs and kick out the lakers 4-3. If that doesn't happen, I hope they make it to the finals against the cavs, and with 2 seconds to go in game 7, Lebron runs over kobe to dunk the winning basket, with no call from the refs because stern decided it was time to dethrone kobe in favor of lebron.

Still not sure if its Anti-euro racism or the fact Sergio is the anti-Tyreke and takes the brunt of the Tyreke fans hatred in place of Rubio.

Either way, its pretty out there. At least Spencer was truly stinking it up, and if you wanted to bash on Sergio for something like the Portland game then I'm with you. If you don't like his defense, then neither do I(or Beno's D). But to go off on him when guys like JT were non-existent, when Noc has about one good game a week... it's something else.

The hating is because of the running-amok-like-a-chicken-with-no-head decision making style. He is like someone on the playground who doesn't know his limits. JT didn't produce points but others did and he continued fighting(grabbed 3 offensive rebounds in one sequence). I am not going to fault Noc for missing a wide open three as much as I blame Sergio for frocing those lay ups he cannot finish on Gasol or Bynum.

I don't get what Sergio has done it so bad. Go to Kobe after Udoka failed at D and get an offensive foul by Stern's favourite primadonna that isn't called? He wasn't great but he wasn't bad at all. Maybe you didn't see the same match as me or maybe is xenophobia.

Sergio's two passes to wide open casspi that were totally off were what did it for me. We would have had two dunks and a ton of momentum

This team needs a 3rd big. As much as I love Brock, there are still situations where K9 is just as, if not more, useful. And that's not a good thing for anyone.
They're both great situational rotation players, but I wouldn't feel good if one had to play for any extended period of time.
There will be a surplus of swingmen on this team, so I'm excited about what GP can do to add some length inside.

.

Wow there's no anti euro racism going on here... my problem is that he sucks... He has sucked for some time. Hence why he was given to us. He looks worse than beno did last year. He shoots when he shouldn't and for each good play he makes there's 3 or 4 terrible plays. He sucks straight up!

He can't make free throws, he drives the lane and just throws the ball up, he can't shoot 3s (he hit 1 last night=luck), he can't play defense. He sucks
